Businesses that Offer Free WiFi Service to Customers

Internet connections are very expensive to get started. Some people can’t afford to get the internet turned on right away when they move. You may also travel a lot and need an internet connection from time to time. There are businesses that offer free WIFI connections to their customers. Keep in mind that you will usually be required to make a purchase before you can use the connection. As long as you purchased a product, you are free to use the connection for as long as you need to.

Here are some businesses that offer free WIFI internet connections to customers:

McDonald’s- Grab a Big Mac and have a seat with your laptop. McDonald’s has been offering WIFI to their customer for quite some time. They now offer it free of charge. The only thing you need is your WIFI enabled device (laptop or pda) and you will be able to connect to McDonald’s WIFI service.

Grocery Stores (Martin’s/Giant)- Many grocery stores, such as Giant, offer free WIFI service now. Grocery stores are expanding and adding cyber cafes to their store. This allows customers to come in and enjoy the availability of WIFI while they sip on a coffee from the café.

Starbucks- Starbucks is now offering free WIFI with their service as well. This is a smart business move on their part. People who would have normally picked up their coffee and gone home now stay to enjoy the free WIFI connection. That means more coffee sales in the long run. It also means that less people have to worry about paying for internet connections in their home, especially if they don’t use the internet service often.

Dunkin’ Donuts- If you feel like having a donut, visit your local Dunkin’ Donut with your laptop and connect to their free WIFI service. You can munch on great Dunkin’ Donut products, drink your coffee and check your email from within Dunkin Donuts.

Public Libraries- Almost all public libraries offer a free WIFI connection to its patrons. Many people flock to the library for this specific reason. You can also do any research that needs to be done for work you are doing. This is the perfect solution to not having an internet connection at home. You also don’t have to feel obligated to purchase anything in order to use the WIFI service.

Panera Bread- Panera Bread has joined the many companies that now offer free WIFI connections to it’s customers. If you love Panera Bread, this is the perfect answer for your internet connection.

Barnes and Noble/Borders- Both of these bookstores offer free WIFI service to their customers. This allows you to connect to the internet, find the books you want to purchase and even have a cup of coffee while you do it.

These are just a few of the many businesses that now offer free WIFI computer connections for their customers. You may have to buy a meal or books at some of them, but it beats paying for an internet connection that you can’t currently afford to pay on your budget. It is a bit on the inconvenient side to go back and forth to McDonald’s, but it does afford you the convenience of being able to get online when you need to.
