Brim’s Cheez Balls Review

I love salty snacks and one of my favorites has always been cheese balls. A few years ago, my favorite brand either stopped being made or the stores in the area stopped selling them. Either way, I hadn’t been able to enjoy one of my favorite snacks in quite some time. When I stumbled upon Brim’s Cheez Balls I was really excited. I couldn’t wait to try them. But, would Brim’s Cheez Balls be as good as my favorite brand has been?

Brim’s Cheez Balls Review: Taste

Brim’s Cheez Balls claim to be cheddar cheese flavored. I guess you might say they are cheese flavored. But, the flavor is very weak and doesn’t taste like any cheese I’ve ever tasted. Instead, Brim’s Cheez Balls taste like really cheap cheddar popcorn. The flavor is nothing like what my favorite brand offered. Instead the flavor is a big letdown.

Brim’s Cheez Balls Review: Texture

The texture of Brim’s Cheez Balls is even worse than the taste. The cheese balls I remember, had a very crunchy texture, almost like Cheetos. But, the texture of Brim’s brand is lighter than cheese puffs. The texture combined with the flavor makes this product absolutely horrible. After just a handful of this snack, I was ready to throw the whole container in the garbage.

Brim’s Cheez Balls Review: Nutrition Facts

A serving of Brim’s Cheez Balls is 1 ounce. This serving has 150 calories, 90 fat calories, 10 grams of fat, 1.5 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans-fat, 0mg of cholesterol, 240mg of sodium, 12 grams of carbohydrates, 0 grams of fiber, 1 gram of sugar, 1 gram of protein, 2% of your daily Vitamin A, and 2% of your daily calcium. When it comes to salty snacks, Brim’s Cheez Balls are fairly low in fat and calories.

Brim’s Cheez Balls Review: Price

Brim’s Cheez Balls are fairly cheap. A 3.2 ounce container only costs $1. This should have served as a warning. Remember, you get what you pay for. In this case, I got a cheap product that tasted cheap as well.

Brim’s Cheez Balls Review: Satisfaction Rating

I would have to give Brim’s Cheez Balls 2 stars. The only reason this product gets 2 stars is that the serving size is rather large, while still having very few calories. Still, I could never recommend this product. You’re better off just grabbing a bag of Cheetos.
