Traveling into Bradley International Airport (BDL) and looking for things to do?

Bradley International Airport (Hartford, CT) could be considered the epicenter of the Northeast. You can easily travel from there to almost anywhere in New England, from New York to Boston, within a maximum of four hours driving time.

Traveling Distances from Bradley International Airport (Hartford): Northeast to Boston is 177 kilometers or about 110 miles; South to New York City, 193 kilometers or about 120 miles; Southwest to Mystic and the Casino’s by the shore, roughly 90 minutes; North West to Albany, 177 kilometers or about 110 miles; North to Portland , Maine, 322 kilometers or about 200 miles.

Going North: Along I-91: within 15 minutes, you will find the Massachusetts state line: Longmeadow, Feeding Hills, West Springfield, Springfield, Agawam, Chicopee, Holyoke, Westfield, Amherst, Holyoke. Along I-84E: Worcester is about an hour away, Boston is about one and a half hours. Providence and (the)Cape Cod, between three and four hours depending upon the seasonal traffic.

Going South: Along I-91: Meriden, Bridgeport, Stamford, Greenwich and New York City, travelers will find all less than two hours travel distance. Going Southeast, towards Willimantic, Norwich, and Mystic; and the distance is roughly 90 minutes by car.
