Adam’s Mark Hotel in Denver, Colorado

I stayed at this hotel for two nights back in February when I was in town doing some academic work for my university. I must say that this is one of the better hotels that I have had the pleasure of staying at while in Denver. I usually believe that you can judge the quality of the hotel by the way that the room is presented to you. This is no different; the sheets smelled fresh and all of the linens were very clean. There were two lazy boy chairs for you to relax in the room, which I liked because they were very comfortable. I have stayed in many places that use low quality chairs but in this case the chairs were very high quality and that made me comfortable. There were about six light switches, which I liked because it kept the room well lit even though I did not want to open my blinds because I did not want people to look into the window and see me sleeping. The floors were clean also and the bathroom was spotless. The shower was large and I was able to take a shower with my girlfriend without feeling cramped because of the large space. There was no mold at all between the tiles, which you usually find at most hotels. The toilet was also pretty large and comfortable which I liked. The air condition worked very well and I was able to keep it on the medium setting for the whole night. This is rare because I usually like it very cold but this was an expensive GE air condition so it worked very well. The check in process was quick when I arrived at the hotel and it took me no more than five minutes to be shown to my room.

The service was also very good, the lady at the desk was very nice to me and she gave me the password for the Internet without me having to ask. This is probably because I had my Mac computer with me but I found that their service was polite and very helpful. The amenities that this hotel has are room service, 24-hour front desk help, wake up calls, a pool, laundry room and a continental breakfast. The food was very basic and we had to eat breakfast at 9am so I could eat nothing more than a bagel. The meeting rooms were large and very private which I found to be perfect for professional presentations. The cost was pretty reasonable, I paid $97 per a night, which is the price after tax. I enjoyed my stay and I would return to this hotel.
