A Review of Chef Gusto Mini Bagel Pizzas

When I spotted a box of Chef Gusto Mini Bagel Pizzas in the frozen foods section of my local Dollar store, I was intrigued. These looked really good. I decided to purchase them, try them out and write a product review all about my experience. Here is what I discovered!

I purchased one box of Chef Gusto Mini Bagel Pizzas for only one dollar. I loved that very low price. Each box has six mini pizza bagels in it. I am not familiar with the Chef Gusto brand of food products. Still, this is a very food budget friendly item and I love trying new food products. These are new to me. I am a big pizza lover and mini pizza bagels sounded really different and creative. I could not wait to taste them!

You can cook Chef Gusto Mini Bagel Pizzas in the microwave. If you do, you must cook them on a medium power setting. They only take three minutes in the microwave. For best results, it is recommended to cook these in a convention oven or toaster oven. I chose to cook them in a conventional oven. I only had to preheat the oven to 450 degrees, place the mini bagels on a baking sheet and cook on the upper rack for 8 minutes or until the cheese was melted. I then let these stand for one minute before serving. They smelled good and looked wonderful!

When I tried Chef Gusto Mini Bagel Pizzas, I liked them. The New York style mini bagels are really good. These mini pizza bagels have a delightful garlic flavor to them. They also have oregano in them. The mozzarella cheese, pepperoni and tomato sauce all were good. These were not quite as tasty as I expected them to be, but they were flavorful. A bagel lover will like these, as will a pizza lover. This treat is clever and unusual. These are fun to eat. One box will serve one. It states one and a half but, I ate all six easily. They are pretty small.

Chef Gusto Mini Bagel Pizzas have 210 calories in one serving. One serving equals 4 mini bagels, according to the box. 50 of the calories are from fat. One serving has 6 grams of total fat, 2.5 grams of saturated fat, 20 mg’s of cholesterol, 520 mg’s of sodium, 29 grams of total carbs, 2 grams of dietary fiber, 10 grams of protein and 3 grams of sugars. These have a decent amount of iron and calcium in them. This product does contain soy, egg, milk and wheat ingredients.

I enjoyed trying Chef Gusto Mini Bagel Pizzas and writing this product review about them. I rate them three stars out of five stars. Mini bagel pizzas are a cool concept to me and while these could have had more cheese on them, they are good. For only one dollar, they are a bargain, in my book.
