A List of Ten Beautiful Hollywood Actresses

I should forewarn you. Hubby liked the title of this article so much, he has offered his services in the way of opinions on this subject. He better be careful with his words though. I don’t want to hear any sentences from him starting with the words “Well if you looked like that……” He’ll get a pen to the eyeball if he tries any of that. So let’s cautiously get started listing ten beautiful Hollywood actresses.

Jennifer Lopez
We had our first argument in this collaboration so far. I wanted to list J-Lo first, and he wanted to list Scarlett Johansson first. Hence, J-Lo is first. Hey, I’m the famous writer here, aren’t I? Back to J-Lo. I always say that if I could come back to earth and look like anybody I want to, it would be Jennifer Lopez. Not only is she a great actress, (shut up Gigli haters), but she’s got that classic beautiful face. I’d even take her booty if the rest of me could look like her. I know hubby is dying to say that I already have her booty, and I know he doesn’t mean it in a nice way. But he’s showing restraint by not saying it, so I’ll put the pen down now.

Scarlett Johansson
Hubby is happy now. His crush is on the list and we can now talk about her. Even I have to agree with him that she’s gorgeous. Woody Allen apparently thinks so too. I’ll even go so far as to say that if she ever shows up at our front door, and if she, for some odd reason, wants to have sex with my husband, I’ll step aside and grant him permission. Hey, maybe I’ll even ask to join them. Hubby is sweating right now for some reason.

Kate Hudson
We both agree that Kate is adorable. Just watch How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days and tell me she isn’t the cutest girl ever? Hubby has one problem with her though that he can’t help but mention every time we watch a movie with her in it. He doesn’t understand why she doesn’t get breast implants. Then, he says, she’d be perfect. Men.

Angelina Jolie
I don’t want to say she’s beautiful because she took Brad away from Jennifer and I didn’t like that, but she’s beautiful. Hubby only likes her lips, that’s it. Now that Angelina has become mature and maternal and all, and gave up wearing vials of blood around her neck, she’s even more beautiful than before. I guess Brad couldn’t help himself.

Kate Winslet
We all wanted to be Rose on the Titanic, except for the almost drowning part. Kate is one of those rare Hollywood actresses that can look beautiful, but can also look like the rest of us, if you know what I mean. The makeup artists in Hollywood can bring out the stunning side of Kate, but we’ve also seen her crying without makeup on in the movie The Holiday, and she still looked phenomenal. She deserves to be on this list of beautiful actresses.

Halle Berry
Hubby’s eyes perked up when I mentioned Halle Berry. He’s always liked her. She has that perfect skin. Just perfect. She never has to worry about a tan, because it’s already permanently perfect and her face is beautiful. And she has an adorable figure to go along with it. I can’t believe that stupid husband she had a while back kept cheating on her because he said he was a sex addict. Was he nuts? He had Halle Berry in bed with him, and his eye still needed to roam? What for??

Reese Witherspoon
She’s definitely the cute, perky, girl-next-door type that men, including hubby, just love. Reese got a rotten deal when her ex-husband started messing around with some chick he was making a movie with. It’s hard to believe how even a pretty Hollywood actress can have a problem such as a philandering husband. Hubby just said to me that he’d never do anything like that. Aww. He’s just looking for brownie points, but I’ll give him a few.

Katie Holmes
Speaking of cute, perky, girl-next-door types, we next have Katie Holmes. I have to admit she’s looking more sophisticated lately what with being married to Tom (zillionaire) Cruise and being on Broadway and all. My biggest worry about her is if she starts taking too much beauty advice from her friend Victoria Beckham. Victoria’s looks are a bit frightening, so I hope Katie maintains her girly looks. Yes, Katie is a very pretty girl. And Suri will probably grow up to look just like her.

Gwyneth Paltrow
I have one question for her. Why in the world did she cut her long beautiful blonde hair last year? Most of us would give our right arm to be able to grow a head of hair that gorgeous. And Gwyneth just decides, on a whim, to chop it off? Now granted, she still makes it on our list of beautiful Hollywood actresses, but that bothered me that she took that incredible hair for granted. Maybe Chris Martin had something to do with it. He seems pretty grouchy most of the time.

Catherine Zeta-Jones
When we see her and Michael Douglas together, I always say “That’s disgusting” and hubby always says “Lucky man”. I don’t really know what their age difference is, but there’s definitely a huge age difference. Either that, or Michael has had a harder life than we realize. I’ll bet they double date with Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart. That’s another couple that looks like they’re from different centuries. But to get back to Catherine, I remember how beautiful she was in that Zorro movie with Antonio Banderas. Oh I bet Melanie was on the set each and every day for THAT movie. Hubby just reminded me of another movie she was in which was Intolerable Cruelty with George Clooney. We both thought her presence would help George make up his mind about his sexual orientation. Oh that’s mean, isn’t it?
