5 Name Brands You Can Trust in Your Kitchen

More and more companies are manufacturing products that aren’t built to last. Many of these products are simply built as cheaply as possible. Plus, it probably doesn’t hurt for companies to know that once the item breaks, consumers will need to purchase another one. This is enough to scare people away from investing in expensive products for their kitchens. Luckily, there are name brands you can trust in your kitchen. Many of these name brands have been in American kitchens for several decades. In other words, these are the name brands that are meant to last. The following are five name brands you can trust in your kitchen.

5 Name Brands You Can Trust in Your Kitchen #1: KitchenAid

KitchenAid has actually been around since 1919. This name brand is best known for its stand mixers, but KitchenAid also makes several other small appliances. The first thing people seem to notice about this name brand is the price. This really isn’t surprising. After all, a KitchenAid stand mixer will set you back at least $150. But, many people are usually willing to pay these prices when they discover that many Americans are using KitchenAid mixers that have been passed down from their grandparents. This is a name brand that you can certainly trust in your kitchen. Your ability to trust this name brand is extended even further when you consider their warranty.

5 Name Brands You Can Trust in Your Kitchen #2: GE

The history of GE actually dates back to the late 1800s and Thomas Edison. For over a 100 years GE has been a name brand that could be trusted. In my very own kitchen you will find a GE stove that dates back to the 50s or 60s. This stove was purchased used almost 6 years ago and the only thing that has gone wrong with it is the oven element needed to be replaced. This proved to me that GE was a name brand that you can trust in your kitchen.

5 Name Brands You Can Trust in Your Kitchen #3: Cook’s Essentials

While this name brand isn’t as old as GE or KitchenAid, it’s still a name brand that you can trust in your kitchen. Cook’s Essentials make wonderful cookware and small appliances. Their cookware is high quality, while still being affordable. This is something that many other name brands fail to offer. Other high quality cookware is often double the price of Cook’s Essentials. Cook’s Essentials is one of the few brands of cookware that I will trust in my kitchen.

5 Name Brands You Can Trust in Your Kitchen #4: Pyrex

Pyrex is another name brand that has been manufactured for almost 100 years. Pyrex is a name brand you can trust in your kitchen because its one of the few brands of glassware that can be heated over 350 degrees. This allows you to use Pyrex for several different applications. But, it is important to realize that Pyrex must be handled properly or it can shatter. Extreme changes in temperature can cause this glassware to break, but this is true of any glassware.

5 Name Brands You Can Trust in Your Kitchen #5: Rival

Many people use the term Crock Pot to refer to any slow cooker, but Rival is the only brand you will see this term used on. In fact, if you want a slow cooker, Rival is a name brand that you can trust in your kitchen. If anyone knows slow cookers, it’s Rival. Rival actually developed the modern day slow cooker and they now offer several different models. Rival may be known for its Crock Pots, but Rival also makes several other items that you can trust in your kitchen, such as cookware.
