In today’s economy not all families have the choice of whether to stay home with their children or go out to work. Some homes desperately need two incomes just to make ends meet and although they do care about their children some just don’t have a choice.

When children have a lot of time on their hands they are more prone to get involved in bad situations. They may not intend to go out and make the wrong choices but when they don’t have supervision or a positive influence they can walk down a path that leads to unnecessary trouble.

This foundation partners with organizations throughout the metro area which provide a variety of services which include tutoring and sports. 4. One of the most known afterschool programs is run by La-Petite Academy. They provide programs for children ages 5-12 which include physical activity time, homework assistance, meeting time, and project time. La Petite has a great reputation and has several locations throughout the metro area and across the United States. 5. Denver Public Schools partners with Kaleidoscope Corner which provide before and after-school care. They give children the opportunity to work on science projects, arts and crafts, homework, outdoor and gym play, children can make friendships through group games, and participate in learning centers.
