2008 Golden Globe Nominations for Movies

December 11, 2008 – The Golden Globe nominations were announced today by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Three films are tied as the biggest Golden Globe nominees for 2008. The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, Doubt and Frost/Nixon all received five Golden Globe Nominations. Heath Ledger received a posthumous nomination. Brangelina fans will be happy that the couple each received a Golden Globe nominations, which could ensure an appearance at the ceremony.

The list of actors and actresses nominated for Golden Globes is a list of true powerhouse actors and former Oscar Winners. The list includes Meryl Streep, Dustin Hoffman, Kate Winslet, Kristin Scott Thomas, Emma Thompson and others.

The other 2008 movies with the most Golden Globe nominations include Slumdog Millionaire, The Reader, Revolutionary Road and Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Quite a few 2008 movies managed to receive two Golden Globe nominations, including the animated movies Bolt and Wall-E, Burn After Reading, Changeling, Happy-Go-Lucky, I’ve Loved You So Long (Il Y A Longtemps Que Je T’aime and Last Chance Harvey.
