Where to Take Ballroom Dancing Lessons in Seattle

How nice it would be to be able to glide across the dance floor as effortlessly as the stars on the TV. Ballroom dance lessons are very popular, not that expensive and a lot of fun. Taking ballroom Dance Lessons is a great way to meet new people, get in some fun exercise and learn a new skill. The Washington Dance Club is one place in Seattle to look at if you are looking for a beginner or advanced dancing lessons. For the beginners, they have Introduction to Social Ballroom Dancing Tuesdays, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. You can choose 3,4 or 5 week sessions. After you complete the intro, you are eligible to take American Smooth 1 (Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango)
Tuesdays, 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. Again 3, 4 or 5 week sessions. American Smooth 1a (Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz) Mondays, 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. and American Smooth 2

Pacific Dance Center is located just 12 miles outside of Seattle in Bellevue Washington. They have a different method of teaching instead of the group lessons. They have a combination of methods that all students use. The first one is Private Instruction You’ll work one-on-one with a private instructor who will teach you the basics of several popular ballroom dances. You will begin with the basic steps and progress to the more difficult ones when you are ready. The second part is Technique Lessons during technique lessons you’ll learn more steps and patterns. Every class you’ll concentrate on one specific dance. And the third part,
Practice Sessions, are pretty much what you want them to be. Mingle and dance with the other students and instructors and practice what you have learned in the more structured sessions. They teach Cha Cha, Fox Trot, Swing,
Samba, Waltz, Salsa, Mambo, Tango, Rumba and Night Club Two Step. They are located at Pacific Dance Center

Everett Washington is just 25 miles from Seattle and there is another choice for Ballroom Dance Lessons at Abayas’ Ballroom. They have private, semi private closed group lessons for those who want to take lessons with a group of their friends.
