Visiting North Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

You should make it a point to visit North Park, in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, PA. Talk about a public park that has everything that you need to have fun. You will enjoy this park so much, just like all the resident of the area do so make sure that you spend some time in this park. In fact, you will find that you will be spending plenty of time in North Park and enjoying every moment of it. It is truly a wonderful park that is kept clean and nice all the time all year round.

If you like to swim, talk about a great pool. This pool is so huge that you will be amazed when you see it. There is also a great baby pool with a fountain for the little ones to enjoy. Swimming will be enjoyable at the North Park pool and prices, well they are reasonably low and how often do you hear that. There are changing areas and a refreshment stand, too. You are welcome to bring food and beverages to have a picnic and there are plenty of places to lay your towels. This is a great pool and plenty of lifeguards make sure that it is safe for all to swim and enjoy a day there. Make sure you go and see it because you will be amazed.

North Park is also known for its picturesque tree lined roads. You will want to drive on them and admire the scenery with the North Park Lake in the center of it all. In the fall it makes an excellent place to see the leaves and all their wonderful colors. You know, when the winter comes, the lake freezes over and that is another beautiful sight to see. Bring your camera to get some wonderful pictures of it.

Don’t worry if you are a winter person you will have things to do in North Park, too. There is an ice skating rink and you can do a little of cross-country skiing, too. Build a snowman or just admire its picturesque beauty and all its wildlife.

Take some time on the fitness trail and rent bikes to travel around the ten-mile drive around the park. You see, this is a great place to go and you will find so many others that visit it on a regular basis. There is jogging, roller skating and walking to be done, too. There are great tennis courts and a wonderful boathouse where you can rent out paddleboats and canoes. There are lots of playgrounds for the children, so you can be sure that they will have a good time at North Park.

There are place that you can rent to have big gatherings and picnics and plenty of shelters to have picnics in for your enjoyment. You will have plenty to do at North Park, there is horseback riding, too. In the summers, there are concerts that you can attend and Meet and Greet in the Park with lives music are also fun.

Come and experience North Park. It is nestled in North Hills of Pennsylvania, but people come from all over to enjoy it and all it has to offer. It has everything you need for a gathering, reunion or just a getaway for the day. Make sure you visit it when you are in Pittsburgh.
