Travel Potty Seats

When you’re on the go the world doesn’t stop around you just because you have a little one that is learning to potty train! That’s why it’s a must to have a travel potty seat that is compact and easy to carry with you in case your potty training child needs to use the bathroom while you are out and about. Travel potty seats are perfect for using in public, at grandparents’ houses, and anywhere that your child doesn’t have his or her regular potty seat or chair. Here is a look at some of the most travel-friendly potty training seats on the market!

Mommy’s Helper Folding Padded Potty Seat

This is one of the most compact travel potty seats that I have been able to find to date. It easily folds into the size of the palm of your hand and fits in a small carrying bag which you can place right inside your purse. The brackets on the underside of this potty seat make it fit nearly any type of toilet whether elongated or traditional round style so your little one can “go” even when you’re on the go! The super padded design will not pinch your child’s bottom when he or she sits on it which is usually a big problem with many travel potty seats on the market. Priced at less than $10 at BabysRUs.com, this is an excellent choice for a travel potty seat if you are looking for compact design.

Primo Travel Folding Potty Seat

This travel potty seat folds into a size that is thin and discrete and can fit easily into a diaper bag or purse. It has a no skid design so that it can easily fit over any public toilet making the opening smaller and safer for your little one when you are on the go. I especially like this travel potty seat because it has handles for your child to hold onto so that he or she is not inclined to hang on to the underside or the sides of the toilet in a public place where germs are in abundance. This seat makes for excellent hygiene and gives you the ability to continue potty training even when you are away from the home. At less than $15, the Primo Travel Folding Potty Seat can be purchased online at www.pottytrainingconcepts.com.

Ginsey Folding Travel Seat

Ginsey folding travel seats are another great option for safety and hygiene on the go. These seats are available in both a Dora the Explorer design that is pink and a Go Diego Go design that is blue for boys. These potty training seats are good for traveling when you don’t have access to your child’s regular potty seat but they are not the best option for all the time use. These potty seats also fit well inside a diaper bag or a purse and they come in a plastic carrying bag so there is no chance of germs getting all over everything in your diaper bag. When I bring a travel potty seat such as this with me on the go I make sure to pack some sanitary wipes as well so that after my daughter uses the seat I can wipe it down real quick before packing it back up. Priced at about $15, the Dora or Diego travel folding potty seats are an excellent choice for travel and available at Amazon.com.
