I personally have a hard time finding a gift for a guy, let alone a teenage guy. I’ll usually just get a gift card to the local music store to give to them and let them have a ball. Although if you want to give them something that you put a little more thought into and that you think they might like and use, check out my top 5 picks for gifts.
The Skateboarder
If your guy is into skateboarding you can either get him a custom skateboard (that either you or him can design) or a backpack designed specifically for skateboarders. Both of these things are useful to the skateboard lover and will be used for a long time. So the price of both of these is worth it.
The creative guy
If your son or guy friend is more of the artistic type or simply loves duct tape, you can either get him a roll of duct tape or the jumbo duct tape book. Which will give him instructions and ideas on different things to make out of duct tape, such as a wallet, a bag and possibly a raincoat if need be!
The Sentimental Guy
For the more sentimental guys, you can get them a scrap book or a ticket stub diary to keep all those movie tickets or concert tickets together for when he and his girlfriend go to the movies. He can just stick his stub in there and look back on it whenever he so desires and remember that night.
The Tough guy
Many of my friends are into Karate and sword fighting, so I am always brainstorming on what to get them for their birthdays and/or Christmas. Although I know them well enough to know if they’ll like something the instant I see it. I was poking around on uncommongoods.com and stumbled across the ninja umbrella and knew that this would be a great thing to recommend. The umbrella features a samurai sword handle and comes with a carrying case for a dramatic effect (and easy transportation).
The Activist
If he is a person that is really into eco-friendly ways of life, you might want to think about something solar powered, reusable and/or recycled. You can either get him an LED Solar light cap for water bottles which will turn your water bottle into a solar powered lantern with the waterproof cap for when he is going camping or hiking or simply doing homework late at night. You can also get him a sun jar, which is made with a traditional mason jar. While he is at school during the day, he can stick it in his window and when he needs it at night, it puts out allot of light.
These are my top 5 picks for birthday gifts or Christmas gifts for teen guys! I hope this was helpful!
