Top 10 Classic Rock and Pop Hello Songs

My top 10 classic rock and pop hello songs include ones by Lionel Richie and ABBA. These top 10 classic rock and pop songs about a greeting will get you in the mood to be sociable! The following personal top 10 classic rock and pop hello songs are in no particular order. When you say that word to someone, do any tunes ever come to your mind?

Top 10 Classic Rock And Pop Hello Songs Selection Number 1: Hello Again, by The Cars

I really love the fast pace and intensity of this classic rock and pop hello song that begins right off the bat. I have no real idea what The Cars are singing about in this song, but at least I know what the title (and also part of the refrain) means!

Top 10 Classic Rock And Pop Hello Songs Selection Number 2: Hello, by Lionel Richie

Have you ever been really attracted to someone for a long time or when upon first meeting him or her, and wish you could just tell them immediately without going through all the social B.S., and your own fears in taking a chance with that person? Well, this classic pop rock song by Lionel Richie captures that feeling so perfectly. Richie is one of the great romantic singers of all time.

Top 10 Classic Rock And Pop Hello Songs Selection Number 3: Hello Goodbye, by The Beatles

This humorous and catchy tune by the Beatles, to me, is about people who can’t agree, for one person is saying “hello”, while the other is saying “goodbye”. The song goes on about saying other opposite things throughout this hello song, which is also an applicable “goodbye song”, too.

Top 10 Classic Rock And Pop Hello Songs Selection Number 4: Hello, Dolly! by Louis Armstrong

This classic pop of hello songs has been sung by many crooners, but no one does it like Louis Armstrong with his joyful, sincere, and forceful tone! It comes from the musical of the same name, starring Barbra Streisand. This song (as sung by Armstrong) was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2001, according to Wikipedia

Top 10 Classic Rock And Pop Hello Songs Selection Number 5: Hello Mary Lou, by Ricky Nelson

This very classic rock and pop of hello songs is one of those good time rock ‘n’ roll classics that goes back almost 50 years, and is sung by one of the stars of The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. This is a great song about love at first sight, though I guess you could substitute the name Mary Lou for another three syllable name if need be.

Top 10 Classic Rock And Pop Hello Songs Selection Number 6: Hello, by Oasis

I would say this is the most serious-sounding of the classic rock and pop hello songs I’m listing. Oasis has this really mellow yet intense sound to them, and this song about picking yourself up by your bootstraps via a wake-up call in life is one of my favorite top 10 rock and pop hello songs.

Top 10 Classic Rock And Pop Hello Songs Selection Number 7: Hello, I Love You, by The Doors

Have you guys ever seen a really pretty girl walking down the hallway or street and you think she’s a total knock-out? Yet she carries herself in a rather arrogant, unfriendly way, yet you just wish you could get a date with her? That’s what this fun sounding classic rock and pop song is about, and singing it to yourself as you try to break the ice with such a woman could help you feel less tense, eh?

Top 10 Classic Rock And Pop Hello Songs Selection Number 8: Hello Darlin´, by Conway Twitty

Even though this was primarily a country hit, it also crossed over into the pop charts in 1970, according to Conway Twitty´s discography at Wikipedia. This is really a touching song, which is more like a musical story. Twitty sings with real sensitivity, so it´s one of my favorite hello songs.

Top 10 Classic Rock And Pop Hello Songs Selection Number 9: Hello, Young Lovers, by Frank Sinatra

Anything “Ol’ Blue Eyes” does has the potential to be a favorite song of mine. He well-wishes young lovers, yet the reason why is explained in the lyrics!!! He himself has had those same experiences as the young lovers (as he croons about) in this classic pop of hello songs, and what it comes down to is common ground. In life, we may not have had the same exact experiences, but it’s hard to be happy for people doing certain things if you yourself have been denied those same opportunities. Think about that and be honest with yourself!

Top 10 Classic Rock And Pop Hello Songs Selection Number 10: Hello, Old Man, by ABBA

This folksy sounding of classic rock and pop hello songs is a tribute to an old man who appears to be raising cash for the Salvation Army. It sounds great in Swedish (the original title in Swedish is Hej, Gamle Man), and isthe first actual hit song by the foursome according to Wikipedia. It’s very folksy indeed, and it really shows the greatness of this group. If you want to know my favorite ten songs of all time by the group, go to this Associated Content article.
