Nestled in Potrero Hill is a small coffeeshop called Thinker’s Cafe. I love the name. It is a very small location, but the coffee is strong and good. There are only a few tables inside, and a few tables outside. The outdoor tables are great if you have a dog. Thinker’s Cafe is a great place in Potrero Hill to bring something to read for 30 minutes, wait for the library to open, or to meet a friend before lunch at one of the local restaurants.
There are so many cafes in the Bay Area that it is hard to think of a name that is memorable It is worth coming Thinker’s Cafe, just for the name. The renovated library across the street opened in March, 2010 at a cost of over $5 million. Together they are worth a visit, away from the hustle and bustle of Potrero Hill. The cafe is located at 1631 20th Street, San Francisco. Thinker’s Cafe also does catering. http://www.thinkerscafe.com/menu.html
