Spa Gift Basket Ideas

A spas gift basket makes a great gift for any woman, and a few men. When you purchase one, it is ridiculously expensive, and impersonal. All of the baskets a basically the same, they just alter a few small things. These baskets can be made by you, and you have the ability to add a few creative things.

You will first need something to present the items in. There is always the everyday baskets. These are basic, and what people expect. There are options if you would like to offer something different. Use a small metal tub, which can be used as a foot soak. You can get these at second hand stores, or yard sales. Decorate them with paint however you choose. A hat box is also a different idea. The size hat box will depend on how many items you will be giving. You may also want to put the items in two matching hat boxes.

Choose a nice candle for your basket. A candle in a must in a spa gift basket. They are provide a calming atmosphere, while the recipient is enjoying the other items. You can have one large candle, or small decorative candles.

A natural gift basket is an option for you. They have all natural products, and are a very personal gift. I would suggest taking these items out of there containers, and make them more presentable. You can purchase all of these items from your local grocers.

Natural Gift Items:
-Cucumber
-Oatmeal
-Olive oil
-Honey
-Avocado
-Epsom Salt
-Chamomile Tea Bags
-Any other item that work well with relaxing and beauty.

Another option is the basic spa gift basket gifts. Before purchasing any items, decide on one scent. You want one scent, because the smell lasts longer in layers. You may also want to have a color scheme. This is not necessary, but may be more appealing.

If you are trying to spend less on this basket, go to your local discount stores and check for clearance items. One location near me has most of the basic items, in different scents, on clearance. The total would be about $10 for the lotion, body wash, and bubble bath.

Basic Items For A Spa Gift Basket:
-Lotion
-Body Wash
-Body spray
-Bath Glove or loofah
-Bubble bath
-Body Butter

For a little extra touch add a bath pillow, chocolates, green tea, or a wooden body massager. These cost a little more, but can make the basket more thoughtful.

If the person is a close personal friend or family member, you may want to add personal touches. Be sure you have items you know they will enjoy. When you know them you can have there favorite scent, and colors in the basket, but do more.

Personal touches you can add:
-A picture of you and the guest. Be sure it is somewhere the guest will remember enjoying themselves.
-There favorite snack food.
-A soothing sound CD.
-A CD with the recipients favorite soft music.
-There favorite wine, or drink
-A gift card for a relaxing manicure or pedicure.

Whether for a close friend, or an acquittance, you want your spa gift basket to be unforgettable. Find items you may see as unique, and give them a relaxing experience. Have items you believe the person will actually use. You do not have to spend a fortune on this basket. Find items that are less expensive, but will still provide a relaxing experience.
