SmartTravel.com Announces Fall Travel Recommendations

SmartTravel.com has come out with their recommendations for fall travel destinations this year. Those destinations include Mexico, Ireland, Australia, Germany, and Columbus, Ohio. These were chosen by the third party due to several factors including cost. SmartTravel.com made these recommendations in a recent press release issued by the company. According to their press release SmartTravel.com is a comprehensive travel resource site. They offer expert advice and information for the travel needs of their visitors.

Mexico made the list based on several factors. One of the biggest factors for tourists is cost, and Mexico offers upscale resorts at relative budget prices. For those of you that may be concerned about hurricane season, the active portion typically ends by the end of September leaving you two months of fall to enjoy the resorts there. There is new service to Mexico from two new airlines and increased travel cost to Mexico usually doesn’t begin until late November or early December.

Ireland is another international destination the press release by SmartTravel.com recommends. They point out that fall rates are much lower than the peak travel season. The press release does recommend travelling in the earlier part of the fall though, as temperatures can be quite cold later in the fall season.

If you want to “head down under”, then Australia is the place to go according to SmartTravel.com Australia offers both of a combination of discount vacation costs and good weather all fall here as it is spring on that continent. This is the time to go as prices according to the press release go up in January and remain high all the way through May.

When many people think of fall, they think of Oktoberfest. So, if you want to experience Oktoberfest, SmartTravel.com recommends you go to where it originated in Germany this fall. The festival time includes music, dancing, very large crowds, and of course beer. The press release indicates that fall sales have enticed large crowds to book this as a destination for the fall already with the reduced airline rates.

Finally, maybe you would prefer to remain in the country? If so then SmartTravel.com’s recommendation is to visit Columbus, Ohio due to the two large festivals they have. One is the 100th anniversary of the annual Circleville Pumpkin Show, held in October. It features harvest displays, giant pumpkins, contests, and parades as well. There is also the Columbus International Festival. This gives you a taste of cuisine from around the world without leaving the state of Ohio. It also includes internationally themed arts and entertainment.

Whether you prefer to travel internationally, or just remain in the country, SmartTravel.com has a recommendation for you. They are a third party, so their opinions are unbiased and designed to give you an entertaining vacation at a reasonable expense level.
