Review of Wen Hair Care

The first time I saw the infomercial for the Wen Hair Care System by Chaz Dean I was ready to try it. You must know that I am biracial (my mother is African American and my father is Caucasian), and let me tell you, in the 24 years I’ve been alive I have had quite a time trying to find the right hair products. In this infomercial, women of all ethnicities and hair types were shown with beautiful hair thanks to Wen supposedly. Intrigued, I kept on watching.

I could not wait to see what Chaz Dean and the host were going to say about how this system works and why it is different from the rest. According to Chaz Dean, with the Wen Hair Care System instead of washing your hair with harsh shampoos that contain detergents that strip hair of moisture, you will cleanse with a product that is not in fact a shampoo at all. I thought that was interesting and in fact I thought it made a lot of sense too. Not only have I heard that before, but from my own experiences I know that it is in fact very true.

Another thing that peaked my interest was the celebrity endorsements. Now mind you, there have been times when I have seen other products advertised that used celebrity testimonials that I wasn’t crazy about. But this time, I thought if these celebrities are regular customers of his and they like the product it might really be something good. The other women that shared their stories also added a nice touch because, like I mentioned before, there was so much variety in their ethnic background and hair types.

The icing on the cake was the low price of the system. I jumped out of bed from my Saturday morning of watching infomercials and got on my computer to order this hair care system.

I could not wait for the products to come in the mail and when they did I was ready to roll. When you order the system, you get 5 things:
Wen Cleansing Conditioner
Wen Styling Creme
Wen Re Moist Intensive Hair Repair
Wen Texture Balm
Shower Comb

It also comes with some instructions and hair care tips. I followed the instructions exactly and decided to go ahead and use the Wen Re Moist Intensive Hair Repair (which only needs to be done every 6 weeks or after chemically treating your hair). I can honestly say that I was very impressed. My hair felt so soft and smooth and was so much more manageable. After I dried it I couldn’t believe how soft it was, and trust me, it has been quite some time since its been this soft.

This hair care system is not only fantastic, but its easy to use and follow along. The cleansing conditioner is not supposed to lather up like a normal shampoo so don’t think something is wrong when it doesn’t. Also Chaz mentions in his instructions that many people make the mistake of not using enough of the product. Don’t hold back and use the amounts that he recommends. Trust me, this product was well worth the investment. I recommend this product to anybody, and especially anybody that has dry, chemically treated or over processed hair. This definitely has my stamp of approval!
