Review of The Paul Mitchell Flat Iron

In today’s world, everyone wants what they don’t have. When it comes to hair, it’s no different. Short hair wants long hair; brown heads want blonde hair and curly hair wants straight hair. With all these wants and needs the beauty industry is exploding in new products and services. Paul Mitchell has invented a tool for straightening unwanted curly hair into a sleek, smooth style!

The new Paul Mitchell flat iron works great on taming the curly hair to a smoother style while at the same time providing control over the frizziness that usually occurs when a natural curly headed person straightens their hair. With the Paul Mitchell flat iron you not only get the curly hair to relax more and be less frizzy, you also get a shine added to your hair created through the ceramic plates.

This iron has taken my own hair from a dry, dull look with curls all over to a tame, sleek and shiny look that has lasted until I shampoo my hair. I have went 2 days without shampooing my hair and it still had the control and shininess that it had when I first straightened it! From my own personal experience, I would recommend using the Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum along with the flat iron.

To use the Paul Mitchell flat iron, shampoo and condition your hair and then completely dry with a blow dryer. (Never use a flat iron on wet or damp hair to avoid causing damage to the hair). After your hair is completely dry, put a dime size of the Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum in the palm of your hand and run through your hair from scalp to ends, it’s a good idea to concentrate more on the ends to protect from splitting. Start on one side of your head and leave a 1 to 2 inch horizontal section down, clip the remaining hair up using a butterfly clip or other kind of hair clip, using a fine tooth comb run it down the hair followed immediately with the straightening iron. Do not stop the iron, move in a continuous manner from scalp to ends. Let another 1 to 2 inch horizontal section down and repeat. Keep repeating in this manner all the way around your head until all your hair has been straightened. You may choose to use the Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum again after you have finished to tame some of the “fly-a-ways”.

The Paul Mitchell flat iron has a temperature setting built into it so that you can set it at the temperature you want for your hair. Fine hair of course will not require as hot of a temperature as coarse hair would, but with both you still get great results!

The Paul Mitchell flat iron price might seem steep to some but as in most products you get what you pay for and if you’re looking for a good flat iron to tame your unruly curly, frizzy hair THIS is the iron for you!
