Living in an apartment where the floor is entirely light-colored tile in every room, a lot of time is spent trying to keep it clean. Actually, it’s almost a full time job between the mopping and the sweeping– which sometimes has to be done twice a day to subdue the dust and dirt.
Eventually we bought a Swiffer WetJet in hopes that it would make keeping the floor clean a less trying task. While it worked better than an old-fashioned mop and broom, it wasn’t giving us the results that we wanted. We kept seeing commercials on TV for the Shark Steam Pocket Mop and decided that it might be worth a try.
The only thing that made us hesitant about purchasing the product was the price, but we finally decided to get it. We bought the Shark Steam Pocket Mop a couple of weeks ago, and so far we are more than pleased with the product. It is so simple to use! All you have to do is fill it up with water, plug it in, and in 30 seconds you are ready to start some serious cleaning.
The Shark Steam Pocket Mop is able to dissolve stains off of the tile floor in seconds, with minimal effort on our part. To get the same results with the Swiffer WetJet, we had to go over the same spot for at least five minutes and apply a ton of pressure. Often times I would be putting my full weight on the Swiffer WetJet to try and scrub the stains off of the floor, and still had trouble getting the floor clean! Well, that is definitely NOT an issue with the Shark Steam Pocket Mop. The intense heat of the mop literally makes the dirt and grime off of the tile vanish within seconds, and I don’t have to apply any pressure, at all.
Another major benefit to the Shark Steam Pocket Mop is that it functions with just water. There are no harsh chemicals involved. The steam not only makes the tile spotless, but it sanitizes it as well. This is the perfect product for anyone whose home has tile and for people who have babies or pets. No more worrying about your children or pets being harmed by toxic chemical cleaners!
Another cool thing about the mop is that it comes with four resuble cleaning pockets, which you can change out on your mop. One is made especially for corners, which I found especially convenient. Also, the pockets are double sided, so you can flip them over while cleaning for double duty. And once you are finished cleaning, you just take off the pocket and throw it in the wash! Our pockets were BLACK after we were all done tackling the floors. EW! But, that just shows how great of a product the Shark Steam Pocket Mop truly is.
As an unbiased consumer, I honestly recommend this product. The Shark Steam Pocket Mop is definitely worth the price. We just cleaned the floors yesterday, and they seriously look as though they were professionally treated. If you are in the market for something that cleans your tile, go buy this now!
