Product Review: Old Navy Jeans for Women

It was once again time for that dreadful event…shopping for jeans. So with money in my purse and trepidation in my heart, I started my trek through the mall. Browsing through store after store one question kept replaying in my mind. Does anyone sell anything other than low-rise jeans? I mean, let’s be honest. I have better things to do with my time than worrying about pulling up my pants all day long. Just when my shopping experience was about to defeat me, I spotted the Old Navy sign up ahead.

Old Navy jeans come in four main styles: The Diva, The Flirt, The Sweetheart, and The Goddess. Each of these styles is offered in various leg cuts and shades as well. The selections available in Old Navy jeans range from size 0 through size 20 and also come in short, regular, and long lengths.

The store shelves were well-stocked, so I was able to easily find my size in all four styles. With product in hand, I quickly headed off to the dressing room to conduct my research.

Old Navy Jeans – The Diva

The Diva jeans are Old Navy’s lowest rise jeans for women. The jeans had a slim-fit through the hip and thigh. They also sat very low on the waist.

My analysis: The Diva jeans are probably best left to the teenagers and tiny women of the world.

Old Navy Jeans – The Flirt

The Flirt jeans are Old Navy’s mid-rise jeans for women. The jeans still sat fairly low on my waist but seemed to have a higher rise in the back. They were slender in the hip and thigh.

My analysis: The Flirt Jeans are a good choice for women who are searching for a figure hugging pant without the ultra-low waist.

Old Navy Jeans – The Sweetheart

The Sweetheart jeans are Old Navy’s classic rise jeans for women. The jeans sat just below my waist. The legs and hips had a more relaxed fit but were not baggy.

My analysis: The Sweetheart jeans are ideal for women who want to look stylish but also want the comfort and support of a slightly higher waist.

Old Navy Jeans – The Goddess

The Goddess jeans are Old Navy’s high-rise (at waist) jeans for women. The jeans sat on my waist. The thighs and hips were loose-fitting.

My analysis: The Goddess jeans are a nice option for women who desire a jean that’s cut with a wider hip and leg.

After sampling all four options, my favorite Old Navy jeans are The Sweetheart jeans with a boot-cut leg. Priced at only $29.50 a pair, I feel confident that I got a great deal. I have owned Old Navy jeans and other products in the past and have always been very satisfied with the quality of the items.

So, my daunting quest for the perfect jeans ended happily…at Old Navy!
