Party Supply Stores in Central New Hampshire

Anyone in Central NH can tell you that it is truly hard to find good quality party supplies cheap, expensive or otherwise. However, I have found three such shops. Not only are these three shops full of great party supplies but most items in these shops can be found so cheap that one can throw the party of a lifetime for pennies on the dollar!!

First let’s start with The Paper Factory located at the Tanger Outlet Mall in Tilton NH. This fun little store is an offshoot of www.partyamerica.com so one of the bonuses here is that if they don’t have it at their mall location they probably can get it from their internet location. Either way the prices are absolutely incredible and the fun of shopping goes on shelf after shelf. Even better is that they often have quirky little items hard to find in most party or general merchandise shops. On my last shop there I actually found Scene Setters. These fun little items are a form of temporary wallpaper used to transform your otherwise bland room into an exotic Tikki Hut or a vintage Vegas casino. Scene Setters even has a life size Elvis cutout that I purchased for my Elvis inspired office. Scene Setters sell for between $4 and $20 at The Paper Factory and come in many styles and sizes. My visit prior to that one yielded a clearance of egg dying kits at I believe it was twenty five cents each!! Although it was way after Easter I purchased them and tucked them away. They were just as good the following year. They also carry some great party favors for ninety nine cents. However, I would recommend visiting the store rather then the website. The store has wonderfully personable and helpful employees as well as a larger selection of merchandise then the web. Their hours are M-F: 10am – 9pm Sat: 10am – 9pm Sun: 10am – 6pm and they can be reached at (603) 286-7573.

Next let’s talk about a little known fact that will save you a fortune on that next bridal party, baby shower or birthday party. When faced with the daunting task of planning that perfect get together the Dollar Tree doesn’t typically enter most people’s minds but it should. These particular stores have one entire aisle dedicated to party supplies of all kinds ranging from plates, cups and napkins to party favors and decorations. They also have a craft and candle aisle perfect to use for creating inexpensive centerpieces and a food aisle with all sorts of cookies, candies, crackers, chips and dips. During bridal season they even have a bridal end cap and all year long they carry a huge supply of Mylar balloons. You could literally get your entire party at this one store and the best part? Everything is just $1!! You truly cannot beat the price. Now I mentioned I found three great party stores well that is because Dollar Tree has two locations that I know of in central NH. The first is located at the Town Line Mall in Tilton NH next to Smitty’s cinema and the second is located next to Wal Mart on the Tenney Mountain Hwy in Plymouth NH. Both carry the same items and both have not only party items but items that could be used for parties such as pretty bowls, cups and toys.
