Oscar Mayer Cheese Dogs

Recently, my wonderful Father brought over a package of Oscar Mayer wieners for me to enjoy. These hot dogs were a variety of which I had never seen before. The Oscar Mayer wieners that I am referring to are Oscar Mayer Cheese Dogs. Truth be told, I had never eaten cheese dogs before and didn’t know what to expect. So far, I have eaten approximately 1/2 of the package and have been very pleased with this product. In fact, I am so impressed with these hot dogs, that I decided to write a product review of the item. Packaging
I must say, I really like the packaging that Oscar Mayer consistently offers. Their Cheese Dogs are packaged in two re – sealable plastic pouch – like containers that do a great job of keeping the hot dogs fresh. A nice thing about these plastic pouches is that each pouch contains five wieners. So, if you want to eat half of the package and freeze the rest, you can do so easily. Fastened around the package is a paperthat shows an illustration of a wiener, as well as all nutritional information and heating instructions.

Size
The net weight of the package of Oscar Mayer Cheese Dogs is 16 ounces. The package holds 10 wieners, which are standard – sized dogs. One thing that I like about Oscar Mayer wieners, is that they fit into all types of hot dog rolls just right.

Texture
The texture of Oscar Mayer Cheese Dogs adds to the overall enjoyment of eating them. These hot dogs are neither too soft or too hard. They cook – up nicely, becoming fairly plump and the cheese product that is contained within them oozes out a little when they are cooked, adding a different dimension of texture. The “mouth – feel” of these franks is very pleasant and enjoyable.

The flavor offered by Oscar Mayer Cheese Dogs is very enjoyable. The usual great flavor of Oscar Mayer wieners is accentuated by a smooth and mellow cheese product that is not over – powering. If you already like Oscar Mayer wieners, then you’ll probably like these even more. If you’ve never eaten these franks, they are certainly worth trying.

Overall Rating
All things considered, Oscar Mayer Cheese Dogs are very flavorful hot dogs that are reasonably – priced. The cheese product in these franks is not over – powering and these franks taste great un – adorned. Oscar Mayer Cheese Dogs are highly recommended by this food writer.
