Organic Nighty Night Tea – Product Review

Organic Nighty Night tea is made by Traditional Medicinals, which produces a large line of different herbal teas. The tea is supposed to relax the user and help the user get a good night’s sleep. I decided to try this tea out and see if it was effective enough to help me get to sleep at a decent hour. I purchased a box of Organic Nighty Night at my local grocery store for fewer than four dollars. The tea bags come in a box of 16 and are individually wrapped. After bringing my box of Organic Nighty Night home this is what I found out.

Traditional Medicinals Organic Nighty Night tea has many herbal ingredients. The tea contains organic passionflower, organic chamomile flower, organic linden flower, organic catnip herb, organic hop strobile, organic spearmint leaf, organic lemon vervena leaf, organic lemon peel, and organic West Indian lemongrass leaf. When brewing a cup of this tea it should be placed in 8 ounces of boiling water. The recommended amount of time to steep the tea bag is 10-15 minutes covered. Before taking this herbal tea make sure you are not allergic to plants in the Asteraceae family. These are plants such as the daisy, chamomile, calendula, Echinacea, sunflower, blessed thistle and yarrow. If you are allergic to any of the flowers and plants do not use this tea. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding it’s best to ask your doctor before using this tea. For more information on this tea you can visit traditionalmedicinals.com.

Bedtime was approaching and I could tell once again I would be up late into the night. I decided to try my new Organic Nighty Night tea and see if it would help me get to sleep. I placed one tea bag into my coffee mug and let steep in boiling water for about 15 minutes. I took the first sip to notice the taste was very herbal and earthy. If you ever had chamomile tea before, that’s what this tea tastes like. The taste started to improve as I sipped on my cup of hot tea. I finished the cup of tea and climbed into bed. Soon after getting into bed I noticed a sense of calm and relaxation. I curled up under the covers and fell asleep soundly. I think this product is a great choice for anyone that wants a relaxing night of sleep.
