Odor Eliminator Febreze Candles – Product Review

What is the most annoying thing to you after you have been done cooking, fish, liver, bacon, etc? To me it is the smell left behind in my kitchen that just hangs around for hours or even till the next day.

I had the opportunity to try the New The Febreze Candle that is suppose to eliminate odors and fresh the air in your home. The candle that was sent to me by Proctor and Gamble to review is the Apple Spice & delight. Which has lightly scent of Apple and Spice, it is does not have an over powering scent. The candle is red with a white core, which after it has been burning for awhile disappears. This center is what eliminates the odor left in your kitchen or in others areas of your home. The candle a wonderful Apple Spice scent that it leaves behind.

I decided to try my candle out with fried onions one time and then liver the next time. We have such large kitchen so I decided to let my candle burn while cooking. Fried liver can linger for days and so can frayed onions.

I followed the instructions that came on the clear plastic box that can be used to store your candle in when not in use. It said to trim the wick to 1/4 inch and light it and to let it burn for 1 1/2 hours. I let mine burn for 2 hours because of the size of my kitchen. The candle eliminated the frayed onion smell in 1 1/2 hours but when I made the liver it took 2 1/2 hours to eliminate the fried liver smell. I could still smell some of the fried liver odor slightly, but, after I blew the candle out the odor was gone. I was one happy camper as the say. I was totally impressed with the results I got using the New Febreze Candle. I also had a light scent of Apple spice throughout my kitchen and the odor was gone.

The new Febreze candles also come in light turquoise, lavender, light blue, ecru colors.
The scents it comes in are:

Meadows & Rain
Spring & renewal
Linen & Sky
Vanilla & Refresh
Autumn Spice & Crisp (limited edition)

I already have planned to purchase the Vanilla & Fresh, and Meadows & Rain Candles. To put in different areas of the house.

Some of the stores that will be caring the New Febreze Candle are: Walgreens, Shop Ko, and Wal-Mart

Warnings: Trim wick to 1/4 inch before each lighting, Keep out of the reach of pets and children. Use on a flat surface. Burn on a heat resistant surface. Never burn candle further than you can see.

The candles suggested retail prices are $6.99 – $7.99. That is a normal range I spend for a good quality candle that will eliminate kitchen cooking odors. The candle comes in a attractive round bottomed glass. It is round, and the glass is clear. This is the size the candles will be for sale in the stores. What I like is that the candle will last for many times using it. The net weight is 5.5 ounces. It is a nice and heavy candle. I love how it looks in my kitchen with all of my apple decorations.

I want to thank Proctor & Gamble for sending me their New Febreze Candle at no cost to me for my honest opinion.

I highly recommend trying the new Febreze candles that eliminate odors and freshens the air.
