O’Charley’s Restaurant Review-Greensboro, NC

Greensboro Nc, Yeast Rolls

Have you ever stopped at 4 p.m. and thought to yourself, “What am I making for dinner tonight?” I know I have. Actually, we did that just last week. After searching the refrigerator, freezer and pantry, I quickly decided that dinner was going to be at O’Charley’s. O’Charley’s restaraunt in Greensboro, North carolina is a favorite of ours. We usually eat there once a week. The hostess knows us, the managers know us and so do the servers.

Each time we go in to O’Charley’s, the hostess greets us with a smile and quickly seats us. Of course, we now have a favorite place to sit in the restaraunt. Upon being seated, we normally are approached by a clean, friendly server. Only once in our many visits have we encountered a problem with the actual service we have received.

O’Charley’s has a huge selction of entree’s, appetizers and desserts to choose from. Whether you want a salad or soup, steak, chicken, seafood, burger or pasta you can definitely find it there. O’Charley’s is known for their amazing yeast rolls and loaded potato soup. You can actually make a meal off of rolls and soup if you wish! They do offer a pick two or pick three combination if you just can not decide what you want to eat! Lunch specials are available from 11 to 3 Monday through Friday. On Sundays, you can get brunch at O’Charley’s. In addition to the regular menu, you can also order waffles, prime rib, muffins and fluffy omelettes.

There is a bar in O’Charley’s that has a full line of mixed drinks, cocktails and beers of various brands. You can sit in the bar section if you wish. Around the bar are electronic game machines to play while you are waiting for your food.

Perhaps the best thing about the restaraunt is the cleanliness we have noticed. We have personally witnessed the servers washing their hands and the dining area is always clean. The bathrooms are welcoming and clean. There are never any paper towels or toilet paper on the floor and the commodes are always clean. The servers are well dressed and look clean.

Another great thing about the restaurant is the way they cater to my children. My two year old always has a nice time when we eat at O’Charley’s. They bring him crayons and a coloring sheet. The yeast rolls keep him from “starving” before his dinner arrives. Best of all, as long as he orders off of the children’s menu, his food is free! Yes, you hear me right-free! Drinks are not included, but he usually shares lemonade with his daddy. He can choose between a cheeseburger, corn dogs, pizza, shrimp, macaroni and cheese or pasta marinara. They also get a side with their meal and they can have any side that is on the menu or a fruit cup!

O’Charley’s has definitely become a family favorite of ours. I give them an A+!
