N.Y.C. – New York Color Liquid Makeup – Review

New York Color, or as it’s commonly called, N.Y.C. is a cosmetic company that sells a variety of beauty products such as cosmetics, nail polish and other essentials. I have used the N.Y.C. Smooth Skin Liquid Makeup Foundation and for an inexpensive makeup brand, I have had great success with this product. It’s not always true that you have to spend quality money to get a quality product.

The Basics

N.Y.C.’s Liquid Makeup Foundation is completely oil free, fragrance free and dermatology tested. It helps to absorb the face’s natural shine without clogging your pores or causing unwanted acne. This liquid foundation can be used with any skin type and they have a variety of colors to choose from to match your skin color.

Application

To apply the N.Y.C.’s foundation, simply apply a small amount onto your finger tips or a makeup sponge and massage the foundation into the skin. Be sure to apply enough to completely cover your face but not enough to leave your skin feeling oily. Apply into the jaw line and hair line for the best results. Avoid the eyebrow and be careful apply around the eyes. Blend the foundation into the skin and leave the face tone looking even as best as you can.

Benefits

I have tried hundreds of foundations over the years and have not had much success with many of them. I tend to have oil prone skin and break out very easily depending on the product that I apply to my face. The N.Y.C. liquid foundation did not make me break out and kept my skin feeling dry throughout the day. For a cheaper cosmetic, I was surprised at how well it benefited my skin. It gives you a smooth coverage without looking cakey or thick like many liquid foundations.

Recommendation

I completely recommend the New York Color or N.Y.C. to anyone who is looking for a great liquid foundation on a budget. It can be bought at most drug stores. I purchased my bottle at my local Wal-Mart store. It only costs about $2 to $4 for a average size one fluid ounce bottle. It comes with a screw off top that makes it easily to apply. There really isn’t anything that I dislike about this product. For the money, you will not find a better quality foundation than the N.Y.C Smooth Skin Liquid Makeup Foundation.
