KY has launched an ad campaign for their new Intense that claims it will boost arousal in women and leave them more satisfied after intercourse. We’ve all seen the commercials with the fireworks, the disheveled blankets, the super-satisfied couple. The box says it was shown to work in about 75% of the women who used it in trials, so why not me?
I took myself down to my local drugstore, made the walk of shame down to the personal lubricants and picked up a bottle. It cost me $30 for a bottle that is good for approximately 20 uses. For more than $1 per use, it had better be good, right?
My husband and I decided to give it a try, and decided not to get our hopes too high, I mean, if it didn’t work we didn’t want to have a terrible night full of disappointment and crushed dreams.
What you do is this: during intercourse, squeeze a pea-sized drop onto your finger (or his) and rub it on your clitoris. It claims that in a few moments, you’ll start feeling it working (which is a highly ambiguous thing to say). It suggests continuing to rub the clitoris and let it work its magic.
We did everything by the book and the results were good. Not amazing, not Earth-shattering, but definitely noticeable. A couple more uses over the next couple of days proved to be a little better – increased sensitivity and pleasure, maybe somewhat more satisfied (but that could have been all in my head).
A little trial and error is involved: trying to figure out how much, trying not to focus so much on what’s going that you aren’t having a good time, remembering to have fun with it, things like that.
So overall, we would give it a 6 out of 10. Definitely worth buying and trying it out. One $30 trial never hurt anyone. Besides, maybe you are one of those 75 percent who it actually does make big fat fireworks for. If so, I stand and applaud. But if not, you’re still in for a good night.
Happy Intensifying!
