How Potato Flour Can Cure a Rash

Recently I had to take my sister to the doctor’s office for a rash that was rapidly spreading on her leg. My family did not know what it could have been so the off to the doctor’s office it was for me. My sister is about sixteen years old and stubborn about taking medicine, believing that it is completely useless and does more harm than good. So, when the doctor finally comes into the room he listens to her rant for ten minutes and then says that he wasn’t even going to suggest Western Medicine. Instead, he opted for a different solution, potato flour. This article will explain how to use potato flour to cure a rash in just a matter of days.

Potato flour, according to the doctor, is rich in minerals that are excellent for aiding an area covered in a rash, rather it be from an allergy or what-have-you. However, to get the minerals to act appropriately there are several key steps that the doctor highly recommended doing in order to get the full effect of the process. As a heads up, this process is only good if your are not allergic to potato flour. The doctor warned us that if the rash gets worse then it means the potato flour is having an adverse effect on the skin and should not be used again. This is rare, but should be taken into consideration.

In order to do this properly you must follow these steps. First, measure out three table spoons of water and boil it in a cup of water. Once the potato flour is completely dissolved, which should not take too long. Next, remove it from the burner, letting the warm water simmer until it becomes room temperature. Once the potato flour water has reached room temperature, add it to a bathtub full of water. Stir the water with your hand several times, allowing the potato flour water to be fully dispersed evenly into the bathtub. Now, simply sit down in the bathtub and relax for about an hour. My sister was a little itchy when she did this, similar to the oatmeal for chickenpox bath, because of this I recommend bringing something to distract you like a book or maybe a rubbery ducky! You must do this every night for several nights and you will begin to see a clear change. This is a safe and easy way to rid yourself of a rash.

The tactic I have suggested for getting rid of a rash either of allergic proportions or simply from poison ivy, is very effective. I have seen this work from first hand experience. Within one week my sister’s rash was completely gone, something that normally would take weeks to happen without any treatment at all. Some of the leading Western Medicine takes just as long to remove a rash from the body. If you can do something just as effective with natural means that is cheaper, then why not? I highly recommend this natural at removing a rash. It truly is amazing what just a little bit of potato flour and water can do to the body!
