How Onion Juice Can Help Brown Spots

I currently live in Fort Myers, Florida. Anyone in this state, or any other southern state, will know how harsh the sun can be. I have basically lived in the sun for my whole life. Many others in my situation have the same thing I do, brown spots. These are the things on your skin that look like freckles from being in the sun for too long. Just about, everyone in Florida hates brown spots and is willing to do anything to get rid of them. The odd thing is that you can get rid of sunspots very easily, which most people do not realize. Last month I was at the doctor’s office and I asked him about the brown spots on my back. He said that they were fairly common and he could write a prescription. I stopped him right there and asked for an all-natural remedy. He just smiled; he knew I was going to ask that because he’s been one of my doctors for years. Instead, he wrote down on a piece of paper, “Onion Juice.” This article will explain exactly how the doctor taught me how onion juice can actually get rid of brown spots; something I believed was never possible.

According to the doctor, brown spots occur because of prolonged sun exposure or pregnancy. As I am not female, I believe the pregnancy option was out of the question, which brought us back to prolonged sun exposure. In order to get brown spots, usually you will need to be out in the sun frequently for a long period of time. I am in the sun nearly every day for swimming and other forms of exercise. In the past year or so, I’ve developed these brown spots, so the concept of Onion Juice being a cure for them was a relief. Brown spots are not harmful in anyway, just annoying to look at. In order to use this onion juice effectively, there is a certain way you must use it.

The first thing you want to do, according to my doctor, is buy onion juice from a local grocery store or an all-natural store, which can be found in the local telephone book. He said that obtaining the onion juice myself would be too costly and produce nearly the same results. I opted to buy it from the grocery store. I always recommend looking for this kind of thing from a local grocery store before an all-natural store. You will usually save a pretty penny. Next, he recommended that I mix it with apple cider vinegar, which can be bought at any grocery store. He also said that a 1:2 ratio of onion-vinegar was the best combination. Once the mixture is made, apply it directly on the sun spots when you wake up in the morning. Let it soak in for several minutes and then rinse off in the shower. At night you want to do this same process except with a bandage soaked in the mixture. Cover the bandage with cloth so that you do not leak the mixture and then go to bed. I used this for one week and it nearly erased all my brown spots. After two weeks they were all gone.

I highly recommend this method for getting rid of brown spots. This method is both safe and reliable. My doctor luckily informed me of this strategy otherwise I would never have known about it. Please speak with your doctor first before doing this to make sure that brown spots are in fact what you have on your skin and not something else.
