Holiday Music Performances at Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver, Colorado

Holiday music is a part of the excitement that comes with each Holiday Season every December. This year there are some notable holiday musical performances occurring in Denver, Colorado. Among these notable musical events are Christmas with the Children’s Chorale, The Angel Choir and the Trumpeter, A Colorado Christmas Presents A Star to Follow, and Let’s Share Christmas: John Pizzarelli. Christmas with the Children’s Chorale: Christmas with the Children’s Chorale is a huge musical production, taking place at the Boettcher Concert Hall. Four hundred singers will sing holiday carols, some familiar, traditional songs as well as some new holiday songs.

Boettcher Concert Hall can sit up to 2,000 audience members and is part of the Performing Arts Complex in Denver, Colorado, the second largest performing arts complex in the United States, second only to Lincoln Center located in New York.

A Colorado Christmas Presents A Star to Follow: A Colorado Christmas has been recognized as Denver’s biggest holiday concert for the past 24 years, according to Boettcher Concert Hall. It is annually broadcast on CBS live. A Colorado Christmas Presents A Star to Follow will feature Colorado Children’s Chorale as well as Colorado Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. Contemporary and traditional holiday music will be featured during this year’s program.

Time, date, and location: A Colorado Christmas Presents A Star to Follow will take place on Friday December 14 at 6:30 pm, with activities preceding the show in the lobby beginning at 5pm, Saturday December 15 at 2:30pm and 6:30pm, and Sunday December 16 at 2:30pm and 6:30pm.

Let’s Share Christmas: John Pizzarelli: John Pizzarelli will be joining the Colorado Symphony Orchestra for a performance of jazzy holiday music in the Boettcher Concert Hall this December.

John Pizzarelli is a well-know jazz guitarist, songwriter, singer, and bandleader. According to Wikipedia, Pizzarelli has recorded 40 albums to date. He has worked with the Boston Pops Orchestra, Johnny Frigo, Buddy DeFranco, George Shearing, Rosemary Clooney, and numerous others.

Time, date, and location: Let’s Share Christmas featuring John Pizzarelli will take place on Tuesday December 18 at 7:30pm. This event will also take place at Boettcher Concert Hall, located at 14^th and Curtis in Denver, Colorado.
