The year 2007 was important in the history of the Hershey’s chocolate company because the company celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Hershey Kiss. Everyone in the world seems to know the Hershey Kiss. This little chocolate piece is used in cookies, on desks, in candy jars, and even as a quick snack. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Hershey Kiss, the company planned to release 100 different varieties of this favorite little candy. However, as 2007 came to an end, we only saw 36 flavors released, and not all flavors were released in all parts of the US. Then there are flavors such as New York Cheesecake Hershey Kisses that still haven’t been released onto the market. If the rumors are to be believed, more flavors will be appearing on store shelves in 2008, including some of those flavors that were previously released in a few specialty markets.
