If you enjoy home improvement, innovation, eco-friendly design, and the latest in home comfort and conveniences the place to be this weekend in Atlanta is the Home and Design Show. View the latest and greatest in kitchens, bathes, lawn and garden, furniture, windows, doors, lighting, appliances, and more. The Home and Design Show will be held at the Galleria, Feb 22-24. (See below more event information.)
There are always previews of new products, innovative ideas for improving the energy efficiency of your home, and creative ideas for home décor and lawn and garden. I’ll attend the Home and Design Show this weekend in Atlanta, as I do every year for inspiration. I never go without leaving with new ideas and a list of “must haves” for my home.
In addition to hot new products at this weekend’s Home and Garden Show, Princess Diana’s personal chef, Darren McGrady, and The Green Chef, Derek Smith, will create gourmet dishes and pass out samples. I’ll be sure to line up for a sample at the Viking Food, Wine and Design Stage.
Samples don’t begin or end at the Viking Food, Wine and Design Stage. That Atlanta Home and Design Show always promises plenty of giveaways. Vendors will fill your complementary bag with information and a variety of knick-knacks bearing their product name and information. Last year I came home with stickers, rulers, pencils, pens, stress balls, key chains, and more.
I always leave excited about remodeling ideas and redecorating tips. I anticipate the same at this weekend’s Atlanta Home and Design Show. This year, I’m particularly interested in their lawn and garden design techniques, as I have dedicated a new place in the yard for a flower garden. Pat Simpson, of TV’s Backyard America will be on hand to offer expert tips and advice.
The lawn and garden portion of the always features beautiful designs and creative ideas and products from vendors. It offers the opportunity to get ahead of the trend curve in lawn and garden design. Melissa Galt, an internationally known lifestyle designer and great-granddaughter of Frank Lloyd Wright, is also a featured guest at Atlanta’s Home and Garden Show. She is sure to share dramatic new ideas.
I always learn all about tools and tips to make home re-decorating easier, as well as finding new designs to spruce up the same old looks around the house. This year’s show promises to be bigger and better than ever with more celebrities, contests, vendors, workshops, and seminars than ever before.
