Bring this sweet mixture to a boil, stirring until it boils. Let the mixture sit on the stove and bubble for another three minutes.

Pour the hot mixture over the popped popcorn and bake for 15 minutes at a low 250 degrees. Open the oven and stir up the mixture. Do this three more times, until the popcorn has cooked for about an hour.
