A great way to shop for fashion in Toronto is shopping in department stores. The big advantage of shopping in a department store is that you can find anything you need on the spot, without having to wander in too many places when you need or want a whole bunch of fashion items – apparel, shoes, handbags, accessories, beauty products, fragrances, as well as children’s wear, and even furniture or houseware. In Toronto there are high-class department stores (with high prices, of course, like Holt Renfrew), and mid-class department stores, with more affordable prices. Sears. Most of you are probably very familiar with this department store chain, as it exists not only in Canada , but also in USA , with hundreds of stores on both sides of the border. The prices at Sears are even more affordable than those at The Bay. I go there shopping quite often as well, and what I love the most about shopping at Sears is children’s apparel, when I buy new clothes and toys for my son, or when I buy gifts for my friends’ children. Some of the brands available at Sears are Guess, Steve Madden, Calvin Klein, Point Zero, Levi’s, Kenneth Cole, Reebok, Nike, and others.

Zellers. It’s another Canadian department store chain, with very friendly prices. Most frequently I buy from Zellers beauty products or books. Zellers is actually related to The Bay, and it is a part of The Hudson Bay Company family. You will find here women’s, men’s and children’s fashions, accessories, health and beauty products, electronics, food, furniture, home décor and houseware, outdoor products, sporting goods, toys, and a lot more.
