A lot of people have known Burt’s Bees wax for their lip balms and there chap sticks, but now they have so many products. I have a son that is one the GF/CF diet and so he cannot have anything that has gluten in it. Some Shampoos and conditioners contain gluten. So I am always on the look out for all natural Eco friendly products for him. So I went to my local Wal-mart and I could not belive it they had Burt’s Bees Wax in all kinds of bath and body products. This was the best thing because a lot of people will try to sell you all natural, but then you have to wait for the item to arrive and then you have to pay also the shipping. I would rather use products that can be found in local stores that I go to everyday.
We decided to use their shampoo, body wash and there bar soap. These are great products and I would recommend them for any one that is looking for a greener way of life. I loved the smell of the pomegranate shampoo and also the body wash. They work the same as anything else that you would get in the store but none of the added chemicals. They even have a mens line of bath and body products. These smell likes mens cologne. I love the smell of the bar soap.
The only problem with these products are that they are a little more expensive compared to the other products that have the preservatives in them. A bottle of shampoo will cost you are $8.00 a bottle and that is the same for the conditioner and some of there other products. I do not think that it is that bad because you are doing something healthy for your family but it all depends on what you can fit into your budget. There lip balms can run around $3.00-$5.00, but they work very well and so they are well worth the price.
On Burt’s Bees Wax site if you look at a product that you want to buy they put a percentage at the top that tells you how natural the product is. This is a great feature to help others find products easier, especially if they are looking for something that is 100 % all natural.
So if you are gluten free or you are looking for something that is Eco friendly you have to check out these products they are well worth their price.
