Best Gyms in the Harrisonburg, VA Area

There are a number of gyms around the Harrisonburg, VA area, more than you’d think for an agricultural area but it begins to make more sense when you factor in the large student population.

James Madison University and Eastern Mennonite University both have large “recreational centers” that include gyms, weight rooms and cardiovascular exercise rooms. Access to JMU’s gyms is limited to that university’s students and faculty, however EMU has a policy that allows for community memberships, so it’s listed below with other private health clubs.
