Beginners Hair Braiding Tips

I am not your beautician I don’t cut hair, neither do I style hair but there was one style that I wanted to learn which to some people it comes natural to just know how to braid but for me I just didn’t get it. I never knew how to braid and I never wanted to be a beautician only to learn one hair style and that was to braid. So I decided to learn on my own. So I decided to find ways to braid and I practice and practice until I knew how to do it. Being able to braid came in handle for me like when I’m having a bad hair day but didn’t want to wear a scarf or a cap so braiding have save alot of my days and it can save yours to. Braiding also comes in handy when you are just cleaning around the house so you don’t have to worry about your hair being in your face and let not leave out swimming your hair in braids while swimming will help a bunch. So I am gonna give you a few pointers that might would be a big help to you.

Remember if your hair is very curly or wavy for a beginner this would make it a little more difficult so you may want to use a blow dryer to rid your hair of the waves or the curls. Always comb your hair out before you start to braid it this will help your hair from being tangled and your hair will be more manageable. Now when you start to braid before starting always use some type of mousse or styling gel always apply something to your hair it will make it much easier to begin. You start by taking a strand of your hair maybe about one inch wide and divide that strand into three equal strands of hair. The left sections of your hair take that strand have that section between your left index finger and your thumb. The middle section of your hair should be hanging free and your right size that strand should be between your right index finger and your thumb. Now with your right middle finger you are gonna hold the middle be sure that you pull it and so that it passes behind the right section. Now the right section of your hair becomes the middle. Using your left middle finger pull the middle section behind the left section. For a more tighter braid always pull the middle section into a horizontal line as you move it to the left and right.

If you constantly repeat the process you will eventually learn how to braid. At first it may seem very difficult but you will get in it just takes times. If you don;t get it in the first few times don’t worry cause I didn’t either just keep practicing. You can practice on your own hair or a headset doll head hair or your daughter or friend but practice is the key. It was much better for me to learn on my own hair but you would have to decide on what you think is best for you. I hope these tips help you in your learning experience.
