Beauty Tips: The Best Hair Removal Products

Now that summer is here there is a greater need to stay on top of hair removal in all areas. With all the new products hitting the shelves at the same time choosing a product is not always an easy task to do without feeling like you have just wasted your time and money.

To help you avoid all the misses I, along with several friends, have sampled the newest hair removal products and decided on the best products.

Best All Natural Hair Removal Products- Shobha Sugar Gel and Parissa 2 in 1 Roll-On Body Sugar

The list of all natural hair removal products keeps getting longer and longer, and even though I don’t think they work as well as other products I still love them for the ingredients, fragrance, and therapeutic results. Shobha Sugar Gel gets my vote for the best all over natural hair remover. The ingredients, sugar and lemon juice, can’t be any safer. The Parissa 2 in 1 Roll-On Body Sugar is best for small target areas such as the face. Two applicators make it possible to cover the body and face, but I only received great results when I used the small face applicator. A plus with both products is the ability to use them cold, so if a quick touch up is necessary you don’t have to bother warming the product up.

Best Hair Removal Product for Sensitive Skin- Veet Bladeless Razor Hair Remover Kit, Sensitive Skin Formula

Unfortunately, we were not able to find very many new hair removal products for those with sensitive skin that worked as well as the regular formulas. Instead we fell back on last years favorite hair removal product, Veet Hair Removal Cream for Sensitive Skin. The cream works in three minutes and is easily removed with a bladeless razor. Unlike other sensitive skin products all the hair is removed on the first try and there is no irritation.

Best New Razor- Gillette Venus Breeze

Every woman already loves her Venus razor and now they just got better. The new Venus Breeze is meant to save you time and money by eliminating the need to lather up with shaving gel. On the head of the razor are two gel bars, one above and the other below the razor blades, that actually do their job. In general, I hate the addition of moisturizing strips of any kind to a razor because they never seem to do anything but clump off all at once, not the case here. The usual three razor blades on the Venus are still here and I got the expected close shave I love.

Only one gripe, the razor blade needs to be left head up till the gel bars are dried and then stored. I made the mistake of leaving mine head down and the gel bars moisturized my tub instead.

Best Quick Result Hair Remover- Sally Hansen Spray On Shower Off Hair Remover

After using this product I am ready to give up waxing and shaving all together. All you need for this to work is a finger, three minutes, and a loofah- that’s it. Because of the quick results I can see this little can becoming the must have product for the summer. If you are in need of a quick touch up before slipping into a summer dress or need a shave but want to avoid razor burn at the beach you don’t need to worry anymore.

The results do not last as long as a waxing, but for no pain and great instant results who cares!

Best Bikini Wax Kit- Sally Hansen Brazilian Bikini Wax Kit

Doing a bikini wax at home is not an easy task, it becomes a nightmare when the product you choose does not get the task done and needs to be repeated or scrapped all together. Sally Hansen has created a new collection of hair removal products that is extra strength to deal with those tough to remove hairs. The Brazilian Collection uses orchid and marine extracts and natural botanicals like henna, cherry bark, and chamomile to treat and nourish your skin after hair removal.

Out of the three bikini wax kits my friends and I tried we got the best results from the Sally Hansen kit. One go was enough, barely a stray hair was left behind. In terms of pain this was the only product that had a minimal ouch factor like promised, the wax is made to only grab hair. Best of all the kit was the least expensive and came with the most goodies. In addition to the wax staples are a small hand mirror, small scissors and super soothing oil.
