She also said it is a good form of birth control to help regulate menstrual cycles and help end spotting afterwards. Loestrin 24 has 24 days of active hormone therapy and 4 days of no hormones. Dr. D’Abarno also stated that there are some medications that could affect Loestrin 24, some of which would be Vitamin C, St. John’s Wort, some HIV medications, antibotics. What you should do is tell you doctor if you are on other medications so he or she could decide if Loestrin would be a good choice.

Loestrin 24 is a good form of oral contraceptive, but you will want to talk to your obgyn before you fully decide that Loestrin is the form you want.
