A Good Roulette System

I’m having luck playing 10,11,12,13,14, 15, 21, 28, 29, 30,31, 32, and 33. With the exception of 21, these numbers are in rows (also known as lines) on the roulette table. I heard about this system some years ago from a gambler who said he won more than he lost using these numbers.

First, I’ll briefly discuss money management. There are many methods out there that address managing money while gambling. My method is the “three strikes and your out” rule. Leave if you lose at a table three times in a row. The gambler should always have an established win goal when gambling. Very conservative gamblers set a 10% win goal. For example, if you “buy in”, or ask the croupier (the person who drops the ball onto the roulette wheel), for $80, you should leave with $88. Also, for beginners, the money you buy in with is called your bankroll. Most gamblers want to user a higher winning percentage.

Also in the realm of money management are win/lose percentages. In addition to the three strikes and your out rule, my system calls for the bettor to cut his bet by 50% if the bettor wins the first round of betting. Thus, if the bettor does not win on his second bet, the bettor is still ahead, even though he has won one bet and lost one bet.

Here are my systems using the above numbers. All of the examples are based on playing at a $10 minimum table.

Let me emphasize that these systems are not fool proof! I have won more money than I have lost using these systems, but there were days that I lost!

The numbers 2/1 –

This is what I call the system (there may be other names for it) that calls for the player to put two units ($2) on the above numbers. These are “straight up” bets, meaning that the $2 is placed exactly on the number. The player is wagering $26 per spin. Ask the dealer for $80 (or precisely $78), based on the wagering method of three spins and out.

If you win on the first number you can leave the table with $46. This is based on losing $24 (the numbers that did not win) and winning $70 on a $2 bet. The player also keeps the $2 bet on the winning number. If you are anxious about what the dealer thinks of you because you are leaving after just one spin, tip the dealer one dollar. Leave with $45. A player’s anxiety about what the dealer thinks of the player may sound funny to some, but I have seen it happen.

If you win the first bet, and want to continue, go down to $1 on all the numbers. You are now betting $13. If you win, you will receive $23 dollars. This is based on the bet winning $35 (“straight up”, or single number bets, pay off at 35 to 1), while losing $12 on the numbers that did not come in, or the numbers that the ball did not drop on.

So you have won $69. If you don’t want to leave with your winnings, go back up to $2 bets on each of the numbers. If one of the numbers comes in again, you know have $115. Not bad for under (on average) 10 minutes work! If you want to leave the table, do so. Or continue to bet $2, then $1.

The second system I simply call numbers/lines. This system lets you buy in with a smaller bankroll of $36. This amount covers three bets of $13 each, if necessary. Begin by betting $1 on the numbers listed above. If a number comes in, you win $23 (see the example of how the winnings are calculated in the above paragraph). If you win, then $4 place “six line” bets. A “six line” bet is a bet on two adjoining streets. A “street” bet is a bet on three numbers on a single horizontal line. Place $4 each on two adjoining streets, with the chip placed at the corresponding intersection, as if in between two street bets. Place the bets between 10-13, 19-22 and 28-31. So, you are covering the numbers 10 through 15, 19- 24 (which includes 21) and 28 through 33. If one of the numbers in this range comes in, you will win $12. You win $20, because a six-line bet pays $20, or 5 to 1, but you lose $8 on the other two six-line bets. Regardless if you win or lose, revert to betting $1 on the individual numbers. If one of the numbers comes in, you have a total of $43 ($23 on the straight up bet winner, and $20 on the six line bet winner). So, the bettor made $43 for a few minutes work! If you want to leave the table with your winnings, do so.

The final system involves adding another group of numbers, 4,5,6,7,8,9, or the 4-7 line, to the numbers you are now betting. I selected the 4-7 line because I’ve noticed that these numbers come in semi-frequently. This system offers low rewards, but gives the player the opportunity to stay in the game longer. Buy in with $60. Place $5 on the 4-7, 10-13, 19-22 and 28-31 lines. If one of the numbers comes in, you win $10 ($25 for winning the number, minus $15 for losing the other three bets). If you win, on your next bet place $3 on each of the lines. If one of the numbers comes in again, you win $6 ($15 for the line bet, minus $9 on the three losing bets). Again, the three-strike rule is in effect. If you bet on the lines three times ($20 X 3 = $60) leave the table. However, since you are covering 24 numbers, or 63% of the table numbers, it would take some bad luck to lose three in a row.

Happy winnings!
