Great Santa Photos at Theme Street Pictures, Millenia Mall in Orlando, FL

For four years in a row, I’ve taken my children to the Millenia Mall for their Santa experience. I have been impressed on all three occasions. The Theme Street pictures staff is always incredibly friendly. The photographers take time to ensure that children are in flattering positions, helping adjust their clothing and tending to their needs. They offer incredible packages for parents, including a disk of all candid photos taken. Lastly, Santa has been the same gentleman three years in a row and is great with the kids.

I always choose the candid photo disk because I’m impressed with the quality of the photographs. They generally take between twenty and forty pictures of the kids and I have a difficult time choosing just one photo. I like the convenience of being able to take the disk home and make my own copies of the photos I desire.

My children take the time to make Santa a card or note, writing down carefully the items they’d like to receive on their wish lists. My children take great pride in sharing their writing and art with the magical Santa Claus. Santa takes the time to read every line on these cards and sharing their pictures that they’ve made for him. The kids love the response that they receive from the interaction with Santa during these visits.

My youngest son is four and he is always very nervous around Santa. He is excited at home and willing to verbalize the items he would like for Christmas, but once he is in front of Santa, he is very reserved and quiet. Having him write a list is helpful because he can refer to his note and spend time enjoying his visit with Santa, rather than trying to remember the items he really did want.

I’m always mystified at how well the establishment is run. I am a very organized person and value my time. During my visits to the Millenia Mall for pictures, there have often been lines, but the process of the kids visiting Santa and receiving the service I want have always run smoothly. They have several posters letting parents know what is offered. There are even several throughout the line that let you know how much longer you should anticipate to wait. The decorations are beautiful and my children have never been impatient at this venue. It is a beautiful holiday hot-spot for children and parent’s alike.

Once you reach the front of the line, you’re asked which package you are interested in. You’re not obligated to purchase photos. Once the kids are on Santa’s lap and photos are being taken, you can view them immediately on a screen. I always love to watch the kids on Santa’s lap, reviewing their notes and having their discussions. I wait to preview my pictures until they’ve finished their turn. The children have always received a small token from Santa after their visit, which affords me time to get them next to me while I can choose which items I would like to purchase for photos, have my disk made, and be on my way.

The process generally takes no longer than 15 minutes and is pleasant, not rushed, and offers smiles all around. If you live in the Orlando area, visiting the Millenia Mall to see the display and Santa Claus will definitely bring a smile to your face, and that of your child’s.
