Acidosis is a condition where a person suffers from an advanced level of acidity. It is caused due to the inability of the kidneys to get rid of the acids in the body or excessive loss of alkaline reserves. The patient suffering from Acidosis, will have high amounts of hydrogen ion in his body and huge amounts of acids in the plasma of his blood. In order to understand how to cure acidosis, we will first talk about the causes of Acidosis.

Causes of Acidosis :
There are no human diseases today, that are caused by a particular reason alone. Every disease, is caused due to several factors that act like various pieces of a puzzle that have to be put together to diagnose a disease efficiently. Similarly, there is no single reason for Acidosis to occur. There could be multiple factors and co-factors that could cause Acidosis. However some of the most common causes are overdose of medicines and drugs, improper eating habits, irregular sleeping habits and lack of adequate exercise that prevents the elimination of toxins in the body.

Acidosis is a disease that can weaken all the parts of your body. It steals various minerals such as calcium, sodium, potassium and magnesium from vital organs of your body, your teeth and bones, making them weak.

Acidosis also leads to serious liver, kidneys and heart problems. In many cases, it can cause a weight gain, an increase in blood pressure and diabetes. Premature Aging is also a serious problem with Acidosis.

Cure for Acidosis :
The best way to have a control on Acidosis, is to keep an eye on your diet. Avoiding fast food and eating food that is prepared at home is the best way to control Acidosis. Fast foods usually contain a high amount of sodium bicarbonate which can be harmful for your liver and kidneys. Thus it is important that you eat foods that neutralize the ill effects of fast food. Fruits and Vegetables are always good for people suffering from any kind of diseases.

Foods such as avocado, corn, dates, coconut, all fresh fruits, raisins, raw vegetables, kelp and soy products are seen to fight Acidosis, by creating Alkaline in the body.

Besides eating healthy, its also important to eliminate the wastes of your body. You could try eliminating these wastes and toxins in your body by taking pills and consulting a health expert, but I strongly suggest exercising. Cycling, swimming, and jogging are some exercises that I would recommend. Also drink water throughout the day in order to stay fresh and flush out the toxins in your kidneys. Remember that if your urine is of a particular color(green, yellow etc), you need to drink more water to flush out the remaining toxins in your body.
