Acai Berry Vodka

Liquor Store, Van Gogh, Vodka

Acai berries are all the rave, with its immense nutritional and healing properties. Used for thousands of years, the acai berry is native to the Brazilian rain-forest. The flavor is quite unique as it tastes slightly sour with a hint of chocolate and clove. To some, the flavor of acai berries can taste rather bland. However, the acai berry mixed with other berries taste absolutely amazing.

Thanks to some creative geniuses out there, Acai Berry Vodka is now available. What a great way to mix it up with some alcohol and have some fun while staying healthy! There are a few alcohol brands that sell Acai Berry Vodka. You can find Van Gogh Acai-Blueberry Vodka, V. Georgio Acai, and Absolut Berri Acai Vodka.

My favorite is the Absolut Berri Acai Vodka, which can be found at any good liquor store at around $24 for a 750mL bottle. This is the 11th flavor in the Absolut Vodka line, and is similar to the Los Angeles limited edition by Absolut. The acai berry vodka is infused with blueberry and pomegranate. When I had my first Absolut Berri Acai Vodka, the smell of mixed candied fruits was incredibly inviting. Staying true to its Absolut roots, it has that signature silkiness with a slight hint of soft fruits. The scent of the Absolut Berri Acai Vodka is something not to be missed. The scent of mixed candied fruits from this drink will fill a room in seconds. The legendary taste is true to its Absolut name with a smooth silkiness with a tinge of dark and soft fruits. The tangy berry finish is long and warm – it is definitely a vodka that you will never forget. The best thing is that it is the perfect addition to a delicious and fruity cocktail mix. Talk about going healthy in multiple ways!

For those who do not have Absolut Berri Acai Vodka available at your local liquor store, try Van Gogh’s version. Just like Van Gogh (the artist), Van Gogh Vodka continues to have an absolutely stellar lineup of fruit flavored vodkas. The Acai Blueberry Vodka is no exception and is definitely on par with Absolut’s offering. Although I often find that vodka with multiple fruit flavors to taste a bit medicinal, like cough syrups, Van Gogh has struck with inspiration with the Acai Blueberry mix. It is almost like having a martini in a bottle with the sweet blueberry marrying the exotic acai berry to make a vibrant berry blend.

Last but not least, Victor G. Harvey has created a premium vodka called V. Georgio which is presumably a vodka line named after him. Coming in three different versions, the vodka is seriously infused with real acai berries and some other things depending on what version you drink. Aiming to be the unique ‘pick up’ energy drink of the year, the VIP version is infused with caffeine, guarana, cranberries, and acai.
