In a previous article I wrote about how I wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to make three more Spiderman movies after Spiderman 3. However, I have no say in the matter and there will be three more Spiderman movies after Spiderman 3. So since they are going on with three more Spiderman movies the question is, what will happen in them? What villains will appear next? Here is what should go down in the next three movies.
Spiderman 4
Since I haven’t seen Spiderman 3 I’m not sure how the ending goes down but my suggestion would be to bring back Venom in Spiderman 4. As I stated in my previous article Marvel has blown their wad when it comes to cool looking, popular and well known villains. The best thing is to have Venom come back for another movie; it wouldn’t be unprecedented since we’ve now seen the Green Goblin for three movies now. The movie doesn’t have to be all about Venom either. So far all the Spiderman movies have had more than one villain so they could easily add a secondary character like the Lizard as well.
Spiderman 5
Now that Spiderman has finally rid the city of Venom it’s time for a new threat. I’ve heard some people suggest Carnage should be next but I think it’s pretty unoriginal to have another symbiote character, they should move on to somebody else. I’ve always been a big fan of Kraven the Hunter. Kraven was a pretty unique character. Kraven was a master at hunting down his prey and always got his target. I know that Kraven the Hunter won’t have any cool CGI like Doctor Octopus, Venom or the Sandman but I think a Kraven the Hunter movie would make for the best story. Again they could have another villain as a secondary character like Electro or if they want another CGI character, Hydro-Man.
Spiderman 6
I’m assuming that Spiderman 6 will definitely be the last Spiderman movie we see. That means it has to be the biggest Spiderman of them all. That means Spiderman has to have his greatest challenge ever. There is only one direction I can think of for that, the Sinister Six. I know that Spiderman and the Green Goblin have a long past together and Venom is a fan favorite villain but Doctor Octopus will always be the number one Spiderman villain to me so I say bring him back to lead the Sinister Six against Spiderman. Sandman and Kraven were members of one incarnation of the Sinister Six so they could easily bring back Sandman and Kraven also. If they wanted to go by the comic book the other members could be some combination of Electro, Mysterio, Vulture, Hobogoblin, Shocker and Lizard. Or if they wanted to change the Sinister Six for the sake of the movie they could easily just unite all the past villains in the movies into one group.
Who knows what they will decide to do for the last three Spiderman movies but I’m sure I’ll be there opening night for all of them.
