The Best Flip Phones

Cell Phone Reviews, Flip Phones, Lg Phones

Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth we didn’t have cell phones. We couldn’t listen to music virtually anywhere or have a female voice giving us street by street directions while driving to Disney World. Thank goodness it’s not like that anymore! I don’t think my little heart could take it. Anyways, let’s get into the top five flip cell phones. These phones are in no particular order and I took the best phone from each of the five major cell phone providers of MetroPcs, SprintPCS, AT&T;, T-Mobile and Verizon.

1. LG enV3 from Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless is infamous for their LG phones. They are sleek and delicious with a variety of features. This phone is no different. This phone is a texter’s dream with its full QWERTY Keyboard. Also, the phone comes equipped with a 3.0MP camera, Bluetooth for File Transfer and headset capability (sold separately of course), removable memory so you can put files on a microSD card from your computer, music player and Visual Voicemail. It is currently only 49.99 with a two-year contract and comes in Slate Blue or Maroon.

2. Nokia 6650 from AT&T; Wireless

AT&T; doesn’t have many flip phones since most of their energy goes into their touch screen phones and the trendy Iphone. The Nokia 6650 is an excellent flip phone nonetheless with their multiple features. The Nokia 6650 has GPS Navigation with a voice telling you street by street driving directions. It also has a 2MP Camera with a camcorder, Music Player that supports a variety of formats from mp3 to aac and Bluetooth Capability. It has a multitude of features for a phone that is absolutely free with a two-year contract.

MetroPcs has additional applications/games for an extra cost like Metro Navigator (or GPS.) The phone is 149.99 with no contract and currently has a mail-in rebate offer that will bring the phone down to 119.00. 4. BlackBerry® Pearl™ Flip 8220 from T-MobileThe BlackBerry Pearl is the first flip Smart phone on this list. Like his predecessors, the Pearl has a laundry list of features. The most noteworthy are the photo caller ID, full QWERTY Keyboard, Bluetooth, WI-fi, Music Player, 2MP Camera/Camcorder with Video and Playback and sync ability with Microsoft Outlook.
