As my son has grown so has my Delaware birthday party experience; here is my second article on great options for your childs birthday party in Delaware. My sons’ 4th birthday party was at Hullabaloo Amusement Center and he and his friends had a blast. The set up includes a rock climbing wall that uses cartoon sea creatures instead of rocks and the soft play area is set up where parents can see the majority of it from most angles on the floor. The soft play area is a group of interconnected spaces with things to climb and swing from, it also includes a small toddler area that has a separate opening from the main play area.
Party packages are two hours long with 45 minutes in a themed private party room and the rest of the time reserved for free play in the soft play area. Party packages come with paper party supplies and a party hostess. All party packages include party invitations, game tokens and food choices (except #4) of a slice of pizza, hot dog or pretzel for each party child, drink is also included. Party packages range from $125 to $190 for 10 children there is also an exclusive party package for $525 for 25 children and use of the entire Hullabaloo facility as the private party venue. Extras such as ice cream, favor bags and the candy wall (1/4 lb candy per each party child) can be added for an extra charge.
Pump it Up is one of the favorite party places in Delaware, mention Pump it up and it is a guarantee that any kids in the area will start to cheer. It is inside a warehouse building and has two separate play area, more like play rooms with the largest blow up play sculptures I have ever seen including a an obstacle course and slides. For the typical party package you get 45 minutes in each play room and then 45 minutes to eat in a private party room. Party packages include paper goods, food and a hostess also for an additional fee you get a choice of party bags.
Party packages range from $199 for 15 party goers Monday-Friday before 4pm to $525 for weekend and Friday evening parties for 25 party goers. There is also a party package just for teens; the teen classic party package is for 50 teenagers or pre-teens and is reserved for Friday and Saturday evenings, perfect for graduation parties and sweet 16s.

The Bowlerama in New Castle Delaware is more than a bowling alley it is a family fun center with a Dunkin Donuts, rib joint and sports bar for adult entertainment. The Bowlerama also has a KidZone with air hockey and arcade games. My son had had his 5th birthday party there and it was such a hit that one of the guest booked their Childs party there that day!
Bowlerama party package is for 2 hours starting with the private party room with a hostess that you have for 45minutes for cake, eating and singing happy birthday. All paper goods for the party are included and you have a choice of pizza or hotdogs for the birthday party guest (included in the party package). After the private party room you get 75minutes of bowling, the Bowlerama sets you up with as many lanes as you need for your party guest. With the party package you get shoe rental, bumpers and lightweight bowling balls. Bowlerama birthday parties can be held on Saturday and Sundays with Saturdays having the added surprise element of glow bowling, where the lights over the party lanes are turned low and the strobe lights are turned on. For children who are sensitive to blinking lights Sundays are reserved for non-glow bowling. As part of the party package each guest receives 10 arcade tokens for use in the KidZone area for air hockey and arcade games.
The Bowlerama party package is $150 for 8 kids including the party child; each additional child is $18.75. A $50 cash deposit is required before the day of the party. The only thing you have to bring to a Bowlerama party is the cake and guest; you may also want to bring a cake cutter and party bags if you need them.
