TIGI Bed Head After-Party Cream

TIGI Bed Head After-Party Cream is a complete necessity for me. The last time I got my hair cut a friend recommended that I try it; at $13.00 a bottle I was more than a little hesitant about it. She said that if I didn’t absolutely love it, she would buy the bottle off me so I didn’t have anything to lose. After looking at some online sites and seeing the average selling price at most stores being $16.95 and higher, I no longer complain about my thirteen dollar investment.

The bottle looks pretty big but it only contains 3.4 ounces of product. Even if you have a ton of hair, you don’t need a lot of this to get your hair under control. You can use this on wet or dry hair but the manufacturer does state that you will get the best results if you use it on dry hair. I use this when my hair gets a little on the frizzy side or it’s just not cooperating the way I’d like it to. It’s also great for those days when static is a problem.

After-Party’s neon pink bottle has a pop off clear top; simply press the button to release a small amount of After-Party and apply it to where it is needed. It has a very nice scent that doesn’t clash with other hair care products and doesn’t leave your hair feeling greasy or weighted down. After-Party lasts about four hours before you need to reapply it. On humid days you may need to reapply it a little more often than that.

If you are interested in this product you will have to hit your favorite salon to get it. I paid thirteen dollars for this and have to admit that I like it but I don’t use it every day. It does work well to control my hair when static is a problem or I am having a bad hair day but thankfully that isn’t something that I have to contend with on a daily basis. This can be used on any type of hair regardless of whether it’s been color treated, permed or bleached.

I have used several TIGI hair care products and like them all but the After-Party is the one that I count on for post-styling help. The smell is light and doesn’t overwhelm you but the fact that it is a ‘salon only’ product could scare some people away from trying it out. There are a few websites that do sell this but when I checked them out, they were charging more than my local salon (to the tune of $16.95 plus shipping).

If you are in need of a product to help control your hair but don’t want something that is going to leave it looking greasy, TIGI After-Party is a great choice. Yes, it is expensive but you only need a small amount to see great results, shiny hair and ultimate control.
