That’s a long time in the industry with plenty of knowledge and practice in the hair cutting field. The company is now one of the leading manufacturers of hair trimmers and clippers with other products such as massagers, shavers and hair dryers.
The company was founded on the electric motor that sits in your hand to power the hair trimmer and continues today with new innovations in hair cutting not only for us two legged hair growers but for our four legged friends as well with a good product line for animal hair trimmers and cutters.
Wahl has clippers and trimmers for at home hair cutting, professional stylist and salons, veterinarians, pet owners and others who want that professional hair product with years of product development and ingenuity. I have had a few Wahl trimmers and the thing that does impress me the most is the quality and durability of their products.
Now on to my first review of a hair care product, the Wahl MiniPro Clipper with the 13 piece hair cutting kit. The Wahl MiniPro is the perfect hair clipper for at home use for a family or for anyone who wants the professional results of a hair care product that comes complete with everything you need to cut your or someone else’s hair.
The MiniPro Clipper Kit includes the MiniPro Clipper, blade guard, six guide combs, barber comb, mustache comb, blade oil, storage pouch, cleaning brush and instructions and guide in English and Spanish. The MiniPro clipper is very easy to use and simple to maintain as well.
The kit is the perfect solution for your hair cutting needs and is perfect for that unruly mustache; I have had a mustache for as long as I have been growing hair over my top lip. Keeping it trimmed used to be essential, I was in the military and had to. Today I still like to keep it under control and found that those trimmers on razors just do not have the oomph that I want in a trimmer. The trimmers on razors tend to get clogged easily and are not as sharp as I like, nothing starts off the morning like yanking a few hairs out of your face.
The Wahl MiniPro is the perfect trimmer for not only the mustache and beard but any hair you would like to trim; the blade is nice and sharp and stays that way with frequent oiling and cleaning. The head is a great size for angling around the contours of your face and getting those hard to reach spots behind ears and under noses.
Using the Wahl MiniPro for a full hair cut may be a bit taxing on the clipper but you do get the full set of hair guides for ease of use and getting the right length of hair the first time. The MiniPro kit also comes with a styling comb and a smaller moustache and beard comb for those smaller areas of hair. The MiniPro is great for getting the areas like around the ears and the back of the neck really close as the head of the clipper is a smaller size and shorter for a closer shaving action.
My wife usually cuts my hair and this clipper is perfect for getting the even look and for trimming up all around. The ears and neck tend to make a good spot for using the clipper as it is just the right size for getting around the ears and close to the neck with its approximate one inch head size. The MiniPro may not be the large sized trimmer/clipper for getting the full hair cut like when my wife uses scissors to do the major cutting. This size is perfect for the general care and use for trimming and clipping when you cut hair and for general grooming all the time.
The MiniPro is great for trimming up after a hair cut and keeping those sideburns and mustaches trimmed and neat, the great everyday clipper for grooming. You can use the clipper for the main hair but you should go easy on it as there is not much of a cutting area on these smaller sized clippers but this is more for the trimming and neatness parts of the job.
The Wahl MiniPro clipper is the perfect hair grooming tool with a good assortment of accessories that is professional in quality. The MiniPro has worked great for my own and my kid’s haircuts and works well for grooming and keeping your appearance neat.
I highly recommend the Wahl MiniPro Clipper for that at home professional looking haircut as a fantastic trimmer and clipper. It is the perfect size for clipping and general grooming of your mustache and beard as well as that general trimming when getting your hair cut.
