Product Review: Nike Athletic Shoes for Narrow or Slim Feet

Athletic Shoes, Nike Air, Nike Running Shoes, Nike Shoes, Trail Shoes

I have always been an athletic person, so athletic shoes have always been important to me. I have tried many different brands of athletic shoes, such as Asics, Reebok, New Balance, Nike, of course, and many store brand or no-name athletic shoes. No matter what I tried, or how cheap the price, I always keep coming back to Nike shoes. They fit me perfectly and are worth every penny. I have a narrow foot, but not narrow enough to warrant anything out side of “B” width. Nike seems to run a little narrow and is the perfect solution for those with narrow feet.

I had the opportunity to learn about all different kinds of athletic shoes from working at an athletic shoe store. At that time, Nikes were the most expensive. When we would get a shipment in of the then wildly popular Nike Air Maxx, people would flock to the stores and buy them right up. They were over $100, and this was about 10 years ago. People would run in, with cash in hand and buy them on the spot. We even had to start a waiting list for the next batch of Nike Air Maxx that we would receive. I had always worn Nike myself, and really loved them, but I never had any idea of how much they were truly loved everywhere. Seeing all the activity in the athletic apparel store for all of the Nike products led me to believe that they do produce a truly superior product. Although prices are steep, I do feel that you get your money’s worth for the product that you receive.

Many people out there have narrow feet that don’t quite warrant going to a specifically Narrow width. I feel that is that is the case, as it is with me, Nike is always the shoe you should choose. They tend to fit best on a narrow, slim foot. I don’t know why, that is just the way they are made. Just like how Reebok tends to fit best on a wider foot. Even though Reebok shoes are very comfortable, they practically fall off my feet due to their loose fit. My best friend has a wider foot, and feels very comfortable in Reeboks, but cannot wear a Nike shoe because they feel too tight. And this concept is with both shoes being marked as a “B” width. That just shoes how sizing can drastically differ from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Nike carries a wide selection of all kinds of athletic shoes. Running shoes, basketball shoes, casual shoes, trail shoes, and cross trainer shoes. I like the running shoes the best, because they are lightweight and seem to provide the most cushion, whereas, a shoe like a cross trainer can be a bit more heavy. The Nike running shoes do seem to be generally quite pricey, but after owning dozens of pairs of Nikes over a lifetime, I can vouch that they are well worth it. The shoe is of the utmost quality. I have never had a problem with shoes falling apart, or not performing in the way they claim to perform. As a matter of fact, every pair of Nike shoes I have owned has outlasted me. I have ended up buying a new pair, not because of failure of the shoe, but simply because I wanted a new pair, or a pair less worn.

I would recommend Nike athletic shoes, specifically their running shoes, to anyone whose foot tends to run narrow but doesn’t warrant a specific narrow width. These running shoes are of excellent quality, and although the prices may seem high, you absolutely get what you pay for. Nike running shoes are perfect for running, walking, and even everyday wear, because they are durable and strong, yet lightweight, cushioned and comfortable. If you are looking for an attractive, high quality pair of athletic shoes that will be a treat for your narrow feet, seek out a pair of Nike running shoes and your feet will thank you.
